I miss the old times. Started Nov 2010 when I was 9 years old. Now, there are just PvP Minigames Server, I really miss the time when I had fun playing Singleplayer, when I explore my first World, when I where too scared to go in a Cave 'cause there where this spooky Mobs. We Alpha players know, how difficult it was to find coal. Today you see EVERYWHERE a cave with coal, iron etc. I played a month ago with a friend alone Vanilla, we found diamonds is 15MINUTES! 10 diamonds!!! These old Servers, there was no plugins, because there were no griefers! Minecraft is no Minecraft anymore. It's just a PvP game, where player say "I have 18380438fps and a 2ms Ping! and SEUS Ultra!" With names like "Itz_eZPvP" There are no little cute Servers anymore, where everybody knows everybody, no Servers with maximum 2-3 Plugins.... I hope, the people who play Minecraft just 1 Year or something, now know how the real Minecraft was. And the old Players like me... we only can remember on the old, good times :( .__.

I would say I miss the old Minecraft, but I have played PC Minecraft only once in the newest update (I don't know what it's called sorry) but I have played the older versions of MCPE. I started playing MCPE at either Alpha 0.4.0 or 0.5.0. Now it is 0.11.1, and sure we have skins, but it's not like the good old days! Man, I miss it. Now the servers are over flowing with kids too young for it, or kids looking to date. I miss the old sandbox feel.

I started playing minecraft on the lite, that's right lite version. I was so excited to see they released a paid full version. Seeing the crafting menu open up for the first time was a huge eye opener. Who remembers when book cases were the coolest block in the game because they were only available in creative. Also who remembers the nether reactor core. It took so long for me to figure out how to correctly place the blocks. Anyways, feel free to post your pe memories in the replies of this comment. I have very vivid memeories of playing old-alpha on a site that I don't think exists anymore. It was so basic, there weren't any doors, glass, the water and lava flowed weird, but there were some monsters so I buried deep to hide. There was also those arrows that you got from the start, but they were limited, and you didn't have to have a bow or anything, you just pressed a button and they shot out. Then there was also some sort of online server that I played on, that I got very upset doing so one day cause people just wouldn't stop griefing my pathetic build. And I think there was a way to fly as well, but from what I remember, you had to hack into somewhere or something?? At least, that's what my older brother had told me all those years ago. The gold and diamond blocks, as well as the look of the inventory, were different, too. Thinking about it all makes me very nostalgic. I can't believe that i've been playing minecraft for like 8 years now,,,

i really miss playing the old minecraft... When the background wasnt moving and the old cobblestone texture mc logo. Steve saying "ohh" whenever he gets hit. when steve dances everywhere. Those times were the best. But now, Minecraft is just all about a race to see who is the best. Greifers and trollers found out what minecraft was then begged their little nostrils to get it just to ruin others lives. When people get banned for no reason. Hackers. Mods. Pvp. Factions. Minigames. All this stuff. I remember the time when i used to build a house in a mountain, finally found out to use wasd to move, etc. I want Mojang to come back and Markus (Notch) to come again, and I didnt ever want minecraft to go really far. I didnt want minecraft to get of 2 mil people. It just wasnt just as right as minecraft before. i think i have ebola *dies* XD jk about the ebola not the minecraft...

Used to play Minecraft a long time ago, bought the game in Alpha 1.1.0 after playing copious amounts of "Minecraft Classic" x'D I haven't played in a long time now but I just really hope this game that got me into gaming is still in good hands:)

Got Minecraft in Beta 1.8. In fact, i loved it so much i played it like 5 hours straight on that day. But now i think Minecraft is getting too much stuff in it. Jeb does do awesome job on developing Minecraft, but it doesn't feel so vanilla anymore. Luckily, with the new launcher you can play older versions. Still lovin' Minecraft!
