The last one actually wasn’t a “mistake”. That was deliberately done by James to try and pad his trash rebound totals. People call him a “better rebounder” than Michael Jordan yet Jordan averaged way more offensive rebounds per game than LeBum has in his career. That last part of this clip shows you exactly why LeBum has more total rebounds. I’ve been watching basketball since the mid 90s. Never have I seen someone leave their man wide open so often to set themselves up for a chance at the defensive rebound. As a long time avid Laker fan I was sickened when Lebron came to LA. Many things are not entered into the conversation on who is the GOAT. Lebron doesnt play defense. Lebron doesnt fight to win. Lebron does not make his other teamates better despite having many assists. And the biggest thing is does anyone notice that Lebron entered the league about the same time as hand checking was made illegal. Why is this important? Because Lebron and his fans point to his being the greatest scorer of all time neglecting the fact that he played in an era where defense was greatly hampered resulting in a significant increase in the average score for the game. Average scores increased approximately 18 percent during his career.
