In 2 Months I Built a Large Concrete Basement For Food Storage | From Start To Finish Alone

In this video I finally completely completed the building of my food storage basement. It's been a long 2 months of building, but today I can breathe a sigh of relief and rest. The temperature outside today is +38 degrees Celsius; at such a high temperature, food quickly deteriorates, but now I can store food in my basement. I still need to make an airtight hatch so I can store food all year round. My vegetable garden has started to bear fruit, which means that in the next episode I will start stocking up on lots of natural canned product for the winter.

width - 230cm
height 270cm
I still have plans to insulate the attic of my sauna so that it is not hot in the summer and cold in the winter. So I'll get to work on this soon. So consider subscribing to the channel so you don't miss new videos.

Hey Bjorn. You got the Rain Catchment system up and collecting in the large barrel, that was full. You sure do get a lot of rain out there !! I think we're gonna need another Barrel !! Too much rain is a good thing, when you have to collect it from Mother Nature !! The shower is genius !! Not only that, but you built the "root cellar," that's what my grandparents called it. They had one on their old homestead MANY years ago. It's coming along. Next we'll lay the floor and get the walls up. Other big name youbers with 10 times the subscribers only give you maybe 15min per episode, and flood with ads and sponsors and have very little content which brings us to their channel to start with because it is all spac filla expandable foam to fill content as they are being lazy. that is so much amazing work. you should have done "drain tile" along the outer perimeter of that hole in the ground. and then put in pump in a 2 foot hole in the bottom of that. so that when this thing starts filling up with water the pump will automatically turn on and get rid of the water....

Fellow builder 👷 I'm on my second earth build, I built a earth home out of used tires and sand bags in 2012 and now working on my second more bells and whistles home... I converted a shed into a nice livable space until I get my house built, and literally haven't paid a mortgage or rent since 2012... I do side jobs mostly building other people's stuff, so I rarely have the time for my own build this summer, but by next month I shall get back to the elbow grease.... Compacting tires takes patience and yes muscle, but it's forever, a steel belted rubber encased brick of compact dirt, it won't rot, burn, or be eaten by termites, and walls so thick it never matters the temp outside it's always 70 inside... It's good to see others putting in work, being most logical and using what the earth gives, and not controlled by Babylon or the system... 👍🏼 That chicken looked fire...

That's a great shower. It reminds me of the one I built when I was a kid. My mother bought a house with no indoor shower. I built one on the back porch. Used the water hose to shower, no hot water. We was clean though.
