The subsequent response from those States devastated United States. Technically speaking, in order to produce robots in aftermath, Skynet needs manufacturing power, along with infrastructure... Given the fact that the robots shown, before judgment day, were most likely prototypes. Even if the Bunker, where skynet was based, had hydroplant, it would still require human to maintain, including the microprocessor troubleshooting (those don't last long). Terminator world could have been limited to nuclear war, but not the aftermath, as it would disappear along with human civilization. This movie is much different, as humanity already started colonization of distant planets, light years away... It means that the entire reason for "humanity is a cancer" isn't valid, as Earth shouldn't be that populated, as giant cities in distant planets were built in mere 78 years. The main villain should have known the human advancements, as he ran the largest corporation on Earth, and automation in space should be practical, along with "hyperdrive"

I am following along with the recap... They have romantic feelings for each other. Okay last human stronghold is a myth. All the remaining humans are going to be exterminated on the planet. The couple find a SPACESHIP and then launch into HYPERDRIVE. WHAT?! The robots now have a fleet of ships and they launch into hyperdrive as well! WHAT?!! I am glad I am watching these recaps.
