Logically, eman is more than just recitation of the Quran, it's practical application by understanding the Quran within its proper context.

Boss mode is reciting multiple Surahs a day, or having a monthly cycle of the Juz throughout the entire year (as in every month is the beginning of a new cycle of all the Juz which ends at the end of every month, then repeat and repeat). That's a pretty satisfying habit to get into, and very deeply fulfilling. Make sure you keep your Dhikr alongside it, keep falling into the inner heart of the Qur'an, the Batin. You will find yourself in the path of Ihsan.

Fahad Alam - as Shias should we also consider the following people as authorities of Sunni Islam: Osama bin laden, Abu Bakr Baghdadi, Ayman al-zawahiri, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi? They apparently quote quite a lot from Sunni references such as Muhammad ibn al Wahab and ibn Taymiyya, should we consider these people as authorities of all Sunnis? I find it difficult to ascertain what he is saying, talking about imaan and all, when he speaks degradingly about others. He shouldn't be talking about testing emaan when he himself should reflect on some of his own lectures which are demeaning. Where is the emaan then? Allah SWT says: يٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِّنْ قَوْمٍ عَسٰىٓ أَنْ يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَآءٌ مِّنْ نِّسَآءٍ عَسٰىٓ أَنْ يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ ۖ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوٓا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقٰبِ ۖ بِئْسَ الِاسْمُ الْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ الْإِيمٰنِ ۚ وَمَنْ لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُونَ "O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers." (QS. Al-Hujuraat 49: Verse 11)

b king Maybe you are not aware that he too holds the position that the Quran has been tampered with, that is adulterated. Are you the 15th infallible to tell me where or what my understanding of Islam is? Do not sidetrack about bukhari sahih or otherwise. There is a lot of garbage coming from your, hadith scholars, before you pick about bukhari etc. I do not think I need to quote your scholars with regards to tahreef Al Quran, or do I? 😊

This is the same fellow who said that the 'real' quran is hidden from the masses by Sayyidina Ali, I am not Shi'ite, but I do not for one buy that Sayyidina Ali will hide the 'real' Quran from everyone. Only a zindiq and a fasiq will fathom that opinion and idea. 😂

Thaqlain - Islamic Reminders Kitab al-I’itiqadat fi Deen al-Imamiyah” pg.86: [ Ameer al-Mumineen (as) had collected it, and when he brought it to them, he said: “This is the book of your Lord as it was revealed on your Prophet, without any added or removed letters.” They said: “We have no need for it, we have one like the one you have.” so he left while reciting: {But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased.} (Quran 3:187)] The grand Shia scholar Murtada al-Ansari says in the old print of “Kitab al-Salat” pg.119: [For this they rejected the Quran of Ameer al-Mumineen (as) when he presented it to them, so he hid it for his son al-Qaem(Mahdi) may Allah hasten his appearance.] ‘Allamah and Muhaqqiq(Researcher) ‘Ali bin Musa al-Tabrizi says in “Miraat al-Kutub” pg.32: [As was stated in the narrations that he (as) collected the Quran after the passing of the Prophet (SAWS) and he brought it to them but they never accepted it, so it remained preserved and stored until the appearance of the Qaem (aj)] ‘Allamah Muhammad Hussein TabaTabaei says in “Kitab al-Quran fil-Islam” pg.137: [And the Imam Ameer al-Mumineen (as) although he was the first to collect the Quran in the order it was revealed and they rejected his compilation and they did not allow him to participate in the first or second collections.] He also says in “Kitab al-Shia fil-Islam” pg.28-29: [And the Prophet (SAWS) had declared that ‘Ali was the most knowledgeable in Islamic and Quranic sciences, and they did not allow him to participate in collecting the Quran (and they knew that after the death of the Prophet (SAWS) ‘Ali was sitting in his home gathering the Quran) and his name was never mentioned in their meetings and gatherings.] Sheikh ‘Ali al-Kourani al-’Amili says in his book “Alf Soual wa Ishkal” 1/243: [In reality there was no problem in the task of collecting the Quran, this problem was created by the government! (the government here means ‘Umar) Who did not accept the copy of the Quran brought forth by ‘Ali (as) as the official copy used by the Muslims.] He also said in his book “Tadween al-Quran” pg.256: [And with this ‘Ali (as) had fulfilled his responsibility towards the nation, and presented them with the Quranic copy by order of the Prophet (SAWS) and ‘Ali’s (as) own handwriting, but they saw (in their interests) that it must not be the official copy of the Quran.] Ayatullah ‘Ali al-Milani says in “Muhadarat fil-I’itiqadat” 2/602: [It’s true that Ameer al-Mumineen (as) collected the Quran, and I pointed to this previously, the Imam came to them with the Quran but they refused it, ‘Ali had a Quran, this is proven and everyone remembers it.] Ayatullah Muhammad al-Hussein al-Husseini al-Tehrani says in “Noor Malakut al-Quran” 4/345: [As for the narrations of the Shia, we see that he (as) placed the Quran on a camel and brought it to the Masjid(Mosque) and said: “This is your Quran!” they replied: “We don’t need your Quran!” and they did not pay him any attention, so he grabbed the reins of his camel and went home and said: “You will never see it until the day of judgment.”] He also said on pg.343: [Ameer al-Mumineen (as) was the first to express the idea of collecting the Quran directly after the death o the Prophet (SAWS), even though his own collection was rejected.] Grand Ayatullah Muhammad al-Husseini al-Shirazi says in “Mata Jumi’a al-Quran” pg.31: [As for the issue of ‘Ali’s (as) Quran that he had collected but was rejected, what is meant here is what was collected in terms of Tafseer(explanations) and Taaweel(Interpretations) like he (as) had mentioned in a narration that was narrated from him.] So, tell me then.

@@skutersaya410 you just answered your own question. Shia do not have their own Quran nor do we believe there is a "real" quran coming and this current one is fake. We believe in the same exact Quran word to word, but a lot of the Tafseer of it will be different. Imam Ali (a) had the proper tafseer and they didnt want it because of their own ignorance. Read the last paragraph in your previous comment you answered your own question, the Quran he had was rejected because they knew he had the right explanation to the dot, and thus it would only come to prove the Importance of Muhammed and his Ahlul Bayt. But word to word cover to cover it is the same. At the end of the day you can believe what u want, wSalam
