I always loved the truth as a child but I found out that truth telling is a mistake. In 1982 after two years of College I had to practise following a chain of evidence , detaining and arrest. So, I went off to KSMART to look for shoplifters. I walk in and find the head of security and a another worker roughing up a 15 year old girl. Then weeks later a cop tells me tat the crown wants me to drop the case on the priest, school teacher and off duty cop that where shoplifting. Moral is that you need to stop telling the truth because no body cares and no one is interested in the truth. The police don't care about the truth, the courts don't care and employment doesn't care.

And thats why nothing changes because people get cowed and afraid and stop calling then to the carpet. If you do nothing they keep getting away with it.

It grieves me to share in your disgust about $18/hr. I make similar. The last time i made this was in 2005. This is not liveable in 2025 but why people are not outraged about this because i am baffles me. Hang in there . Prior military here, same age and education.

It never ends well for whistle blowers the people you inform on still has good friends in the company and they'll do their best to get you fired because nobody can trust you in the company 😮

@@blackgrandpa7652 yes, I had two Sargents, a Lieutenant and a Deputy Chief tell me that they wanted to bring me over to their unit BUT the others said they didn’t want to work with me.
