In A First, Saudi's MBS Warns Enemies Of Houthis; Threatens Action Over Anti-Houthi Measures

Saudi Arabia is increasingly anxious over the situation in neighboring Yemen and has urged Yemen’s internationally recognized government and central bank governor to reconsider financial actions designed to weaken the Houthis, Bloomberg reported. Riyadh said it may reduce economic and military support for the Yemeni administration if the moves against the Houthis were implemented and that it would be on its own to face a new likely conflict. The ruling families in the KSA, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the UAE, Qatar to a lesser extent, Kuwait etc. are accutely aware that their people are extremely pro-Palestinian. ANYTHING that the ruling families are seen to do which helps the so called 'Israelis' could theoretically end their rule of their respective States. King Abdullah II the basically English King of Jordan, is the most at risk, having literally millions of ethnic Palestinians assimilated within Jordanian society, and even more in refugee camps. If he is seen to be assisting Israel he could well find himself being a King in exile back in the UK or being put against a wall and shot by his rather annoyed countrymen. The Saudis are also fed up of their restrictive systems, so MbS has to find a way of being able to hold on to the levers of power whilst giving Saudi citizens the economic and social freedoms that they want. That is why the KSA is seeking entente with Iran and Qatar etc. Economic prosperity is what is required and the KSA cannot achieve that against simmering conflicts with Iran and other Gulf States.
