Your music has gotten me through so much over the years man. Was so long ago I first heard Cold and my mind EXPLODED when I listened to the rest of the album. Thanks for putting out the best music ❤

I've been a fan since the first time I heard Cold. Kevin, you are a lyrical genius. Most underrated, underappreciated song writer in rock music.

Dude you are such an unbelievably gifted songwriter. I've been a dedicated listener to all of your work since driving home one night, listening to my local rock station, and hearing Cold (But I'm Still Here), not knowing who it was, having no way of knowing, and searching to find it for MONTHS. I'm so glad that I did because it gave me all of your amazing work for so many years. I can say without an ounce of hyperbole that your writing, your talent, your music has had a major impact on my life for over 15 years now, and I'm so thankful.

This and Pin Up are my favorites (who am I kidding, all of them are 😂). I knew this was a dark song but didn’t really realize how dark. Thanks for sharing! I am loving these videos.

I met Kevin. I was sitting at a table by myself, and he came over to talk with. I'm blown away with how this guy is the best vocalist. Evans blue/Parabelle has so much music from acustic to live. Every chance I get to introduce their music to someone new, I do!

Evans Blue lore, awesome! I never thought this song had such a dark meaning. Then again I could never figure out the meaning of most of these songs. There are so many different things that could be said with the same words...

Kevin, ive been a fan of yours (early Evans Blue) since i heard "cold, but im still here" when i was 14.(now 28) This song as well as "The Pursuit" quickly became my favorites. Just want to say thank you for those 2 Albums(The Pursuit, Melody). Such great music and amazing lyrics. Glad to see you are doing good!

Kevin is a TBS fan! Let's gooooo! Ps You're an absolute most excellent singer, song writer, and lyricist. Your music hit home for me in '06. I completely understand how heavy these songs are. It was a very dark period, BUT THANK YOU for writing these and essentially being there for me when no one else was.

This brings back memories. I was a super huge Evans Blue fan back in 2008/2009 and was going through a pretty rough relationship around that time. I ended up playing that album on repeat and was devastated when I found out you were no longer with EB. I think I even still have the demos from the unreleased album they were going to put out on my iPod somewhere. Glad to see you're still going strong with Parabelle.

This was always a favorite track of mine. Kept that album on repeat for a while because I knew after The Pursuit ended, this song was coming next to start the album over. This is also one of the songs I used to play along to on guitar. I found an old video of that about a year ago and posted on my channel. Didn’t quite have it down perfect at the time but was still fun lol. Those were some good times back then.

Great video! I listened to this record A LOT when I discovered it a few years after Evans Blue Disbanded. I always thought it was fascinating that The Pursuit was the first single on the record, and yet it was the last song. Most bands I listened to at the time would release 10-14 song records and the first 4-5 songs would be killer! But the rest of their albums were seemingly filler. I loved that not a single part of this record felt like filler. From Red Dress and Alone to even that Tori Amos cover. Just such a great album. I'd love to hear more of these!

Please do “Beg”. Back when the song came out i was in High School and had a huge crush on the popular girl. She hd the whole school after her and we were good friends but I knew we would be so much better together. This song fit perfect for my life at that moment. I listened to it on repeat every day. It just hit so close to home.

I love you so much. I just found your channel and I'm so excited to see more songs. I always wondered... are the first two Evans blue albums concept albums? Is it about a specific person or story? I always thought the melody and the energetic nature of volume was a full concept... top 3 albums of all time for me.

One of my favorite tracks. It’s odd because I always had an image in my mind of the woman in the red dress from the end of the movie Sin City because some of the imagery in the song does call to mind some kind of film noir vibes.

Hi Kevin, I found Evans Blue just after my grandmother died in 2010. She was like a mother to me, and losing her was the hardest thing I had to go through. I want you to know just how much your music has helped me through some of my darkest times. It felt like I was heard, like someone out there cared for me and now, these songs make up my comfort playlists, the ones that calm me down on a bad day and remind me why I put that knife down. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
