This channel is one of my most favorites of any, as they mix in so much variety in content they cover. Today was a great example of just that. Especially, Dougo out of his comfort zone. I also worked with my father extensively in the construction trades, but Chet and Dougo are much more fun than my interactions with my father. Kudos to the entire Larson team and family.

Thanks for another great video Chet and Dougo. I really enjoyed this video and visit to this field day. I think Dougo enjoyed it more than he thought. Sounds like both of you enjoyed seeing all the different machines they had there. Funny when that film guy dumped out the back. He just jumped back up and back filming again. Good job on running that new ih tractor Chet along with that machine. Dougo was not liking all those people watching the two of you. Not his kind of thing. Do understand. Thanks again for taking us along. Really enjoyed that. Gave you and Dougo a day away from the farm and enjoy the day out and about. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

It's always a great day taking Dougo on a road trip and not telling him that he is the banker and you want a new piece of equipment. Great video Dougo and Chet, I would look up to you guys and ask you a question as you are pretty much up to date on machinery and know what they can do and not do. Looking forward to this Falls video. Chet the last video you were getting things ready for harvest have you gone through the dryers and checked out the wires that the mice always chew off and since it's hard to get parts you may want to check them out right away and put some mice bait or antifreeze down as bait inside the dryers after you check them out.

I was only 7 years old still remember it like it was yesterday remember how there was a Minneapolis moline G1000 there what a beast it was my Dad ended up buying a MM 670 diesel super that year most manufacturers had smaller tractors there 4020 JD 806 IH 1850 Oliver 190XT Allis Chalmers there was a massey there don’t remember what size no Ford though

Great video. I absolutely enjoy being a part of the variety activities that come with farming and Larson Farms. It's great when Chet, Dougo, Big Swede, Brodie, Amy or anyone on the farm talks about the jobs they do as either "well it has to be done so lets get in and do it" or "this is so much fun". It's like playing with big expensive toys. Yet 16 hr days working a field would difficult to believe is fun but you all do it. Great stuff. Can't wait for the next one.

We've been running a Turbo-Max since 2014, here's my experience. We've run it just about every way we can so I'll tell the times we like it and the times we don't. We love it in the spring after NH3 and as a pass to smooth things up behind the disk or a Landsman. It works good in the fall for bean stubble to smooth things up. It works good on corn stalks in the fall along as you don't have standing water over the winter, it doesn't move enough dirt to bury, but it will pin stalks well and bust up root wads well enough that the bean planter will go right through them in the spring. It won't work in ruts. We like it on our highly erodable ground because it doesn't fluff stuff up a lot, the spider(?) baskets and rolling harrow pin stuff well when you run the blades straight. In my opinion, it runs really well for finishing or if you just wanna rumble stuff up. If you go too fast, with it too deep, with no wing gauge wheels, and no down pressure it will washboard like no tomorrow in the double fold models. This is worse if it's wet. Anyways, this is my 2 cents, hopefully yall learned something!
