Congratulations, Brody! Chet, I noticed some farmers out have came up with ideas to air blow the top of their feeder house while still picking corn or cutting soybeans and wheat! just an idea for you to come up with on how if your interested of doing to the combine you own.

Here's a lil insight for preventing sun-baked hoses: Get yahself a mechanics towel with a little knappy cloth and some Vaseline. Apply to towel thin. Do a "choke 'n stroke" the length of the hose. It swells the rubber a little, and keeps the rubber moist. I do it about 2x/yr. 😁

Never be afraid to try something new in farming. Yes the one of the problems with minimal till is saving water on a wet year. That’s what the tile will take care of. Dry years you will get more bushels. Your fuel bill must be enormous with all that fall tillage, just think of cutting that in half or more. I know you would have to invest in specialized equipment, not old stuff either. We are zero till.

Is the yield monitor reporting the data from both machines on one monitor? If so, how do they talk to each other? Interesting.

Kudos to Larson Farms for helping Eric step into his future personal farming operation! Helping others pursue their dreams is the honorable way to live. Another great video - from a retired grass seed and grain farmer in Oregon!
