In A Violent Nature - Movie Review | A New Look For Slashers!

IFC and Shudder are back in theaters again this year with another horror feature! In A Violent Nature brings us an interesting new spin on the horror-slasher genre, this time putting the audience in the perspective of the killer. I enjoyed 'In a Violent Nature,' but the pace needed to be tightened up a bit. The movie is 95min long; could have easily trimmed 15-20min off the runtime (5 from final scene and at least 10 out of all the walking scenes). Other than that, it has a lot going for it; the kills, the effects, the killer, the lore and the camera work are all very good. I really hope it gets a sequel.
