I feel like this person isnt an absolute scumbag imo. Yes what they're doing is wrong, but they are trying to seek help, and they at least feel guilt about it, so i think that means they are capable of change. thoughts and prayers ❤

I think you should tell your mother about the job, if you don't feel like sharing the reason why you lost it just tell her you're struggling with your mental health and you need time to be able to discuss this. About your addiction, you really need to think if you wanna quit or just not be caught red-handed; if you feel like quitting for good you will need a lot of motivation and help from professionals and people in your own situation.
