In regards to her death- She had damaged her body through years of bulimia too. She saw her personal doctor just 2 days before she died and literally told her ‘I don’t want to die.’ What makes the whole thing even sadder was on the night of her death she was watching old performances of herself on KZbin and actually remarked to her security guard how good she actually was- something incredibly rare in itself. There were 2 empty 1 litres of vodka that was found beside her. She had been abstinent for a while so her body just couldn’t handle that amount of strong alcohol. I take solace in the fact she simply fell asleep and just never woke up. Security guard that checked on her thought she was just sleeping and tried to wake her up but she was already cold. It was an accidental overdose.

Amy being a Brit makes me so proud that her music was unrivalled by any other female artists and the sad thing is the UK press would never leave her alone and I think this is why this poor girls demons drove her to her death which is so sad R.I.P AMY forever loved

I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard somewhere that the box she placed in the grave was symbolism for her, burying her broken heart..

It was originally it showed an image of the tombstone saying RIP the heart of Amy Winehouse and at the end of the video too but after her death they edited that out

Amy is a legend. No one will ever replace her talent. MORE IMPORTANTLY- Amy did not *overdose* on purpose. IT WAS ACCIDENTAL. Men, PUHHHLEASE Imagine the hate women artists get today and times that to a billion.. Amy was never appreciated in public, only hated. It’s devastating because she was a once in a lifetime and she was only 27. She was a good human that made mistakes - like we all do! She was a lyricist, Poet, and had an amazing fucking voice. Period.

There’s a very insightful documentary on her life, her drug addiction and untimely death. She was so very extremely talented and under appreciated. It’s really quite disheartening

She didn't die of overdose. Her heart had weakened with the drugs and alcohol abuse. She has been sober for some time but was a little too late. 😢😢

Exactly. Every reaction I watch mentions her “death” but never speaks the truth of it.. I wish they would educate themselves….Amy did not want to die. It was accidental.

Being a fan of Amy Winehouse since she first started, I always get really jealous of people that are only just discovering her and her music NOW! They have so many treats in store. Whereas us fans will never ever get any new content from her, we’ve seen pretty much every live performance and heard every concert- people just discovering Amy have all that to look forward to!

Love this song. As promised in a Metallica reaction from 2 months a go, which I just commented on 10 minutes a go, I said I would be back. Not much Metal in your lives since then lads. Shocking stuff considering how much you enjoyed Metallica. A simple suggestion. Black Sabbath, War Pigs. A 1969 anti war / Vietnam war protest song. Sung by a bunch of lads from Birmingham, England. And sadly as relevant today as it was then. Black Sabbath are the God Fathers of Metal. The Big Bang of Orgasmic. ( Watch the version with lyrics, but not the one with the fan made film attached, the video is good and should be seen, but from a later time and takes away from the first listening experience). You will not regret my suggestion. Ah Go On!
