I live in rural Ak. This is the only celebrity I truley mourned the loss of and still do. My big burley fisherman husband watched & loved fashion police with me, as long as I swore to never tell the crew😅 Thank You ❤

I was so sad when Joan passed, I loved her so much. I was really mourning and thought about it for a long time. She left a huge empty space. I can't believe it has been a decade after her passing. I love finding videos on youtube of her, I enjoy them every now and then. ❤

Kathy's big mistake. She should have followed Joan's rule. NEVER APOLOGIZE. Just allow it to blow over. Joan never did and it was one of the many things I admired about her.
@EarlOfRichard3 ай бұрын
The only time she ever formally apologised was for the incident - and she was getting death threats and had lawyers advise her to apologise - its a different situation. She also took it back when she got the constitutional lawyer and learned she did nothing wrong

Yeah, hindsight. I don’t blame her for panicking tho, she was being treated as a legit terrorist threat

That's doesn't work for everybody or situation
@brionity3 ай бұрын
@@yasinradee It was Joan's POLICY. She stated it every single time. She got a lot of flak for it. But she always stood her ground. Hero.
@NightAngelx3 ай бұрын
@brionity That's why she is hated and despised. She is arrogant and never admit her mistakes. Being comedian doesn't allow you to lie or disrespt or bully others. You wouldn't even like it if you were the target.

Two of my favorite comedians of all time. I miss Joan so much, she reminds me of an aunt I love who was also elegant, fun and very frank.. Joan has given me so much happiness when I was still a younger closeted gay man back then.. And rewatching her, she still does!

Joan Rivers - a queen, a legend, an icon, a bonafide bad ass! I love her so much! I miss her so much! I don’t think the world could handle her in 2024… she’d be cancelled so many times but would always stand her ground, never apologize and come back guns a’blazin! Actually I’d love to see her tell off all the people that tried to cancel her
@EarlOfRichard3 ай бұрын
As a fan of both of them - its not that people are more sensitive, what’s offensive was always offensive, its just that people have more accessibility and social capitol to call them out. That being said, comedy is a social contract, if you watch these comedians you agree to sit through what they have to say.
