Her clothes and jewelry are top class. I bought a necklace for my mother one time. It was the first piece of Joan’s jewelry I ever bought. My sister saw it, she loved it. I valued her opinion cause she always shopped at high end stores even for costume jewelry. When I told her it was Joan’s she loved it. Wanted to keep it when mother died. Of course I said sure. She thought I should have it. Also mom used to wear my jewelry. I’d come to her house and she’d say I like that. I want to wear it a while. So I’d take it off and give it to her. I had a smoky topaz ring I bought from this girl that lost her fiancé in a car accident shortly before their wedding. My mom wanted to wear it all the time. So I let her. Anyway when she died I took it back. One day my sister said I can’t find mothers ring. I asked which one? She told me the smoky topaz. I said it’s was mine I took it home with me. She said no the one mom wore all the tine. I said yes. So I got it out of my jewelry box and cleaned it up and wrapped it up and gave it to her for Mother’s Day. lol She loves it. Wears it allot. I hardly ever wore it. I’m glad to give it to my sister since she loved it so much.

It's 10 years after her passing...and I still miss Joan. Whenever she would come on, no matter the program--I would always stop and listen. She was a one in a million stellar comic, and a genuine person. "A Piece of Work" was--and still is--an extraordinary documentary.
@mattbernabe3 ай бұрын
I agree, and I'm 100% the same way. Whenever I heard she was going to make an appearance on The View, Wendy Williams, Howard Stern, or any other talk show, I tuned in. I even watched Fashion Police because of her. I don't really care about fashion, but I watched it to see what Joan was going to say I loved her. I didn't know her, I never met her (I wish I did), but I adored her. She never failed to make me laugh and make me feel good. One of her quotes is one I completely agree with, "If you can take an awful experience from your life and make it funny, it'll save your life." That may not be the exact quote, but it's close enough, and it's so true. Laughter is the greatest medicine in the world. After 10 years since her passing, I still miss her so much. I miss her presence, and I could only wonder what she would be saying today's pop culture and politics. Most people have been saying that if Joan was still alive, she would be canceled. To me, we need more Joan Rivers and Wendy Williams in the world. Society has become too dull. Not many people are saying what most people are thinking. They want to be friends and nice to everyone. They're trying not to offend anyone. It's boring as hell now. Joan is definitely missed, and we need someone like her to break the ice. Love her. I agree about her documentary. I probably watch it once or twice a year. The woman was brilliant and an amazing pioneer and trailblazer. The Queen of Comedy is what I call her.

I’m so angry with the “doctors” that had an 80 plus year old woman who they put under anasthesia without life saving equipment available. I had oral surgery in my sixties and there was an oxygen tank in the corner, a heart monitor on my finger and a blood pressure monitor on my arm. Not in chichi New York but northern Virginia. What the hell were they were they doing? Melissa didn’t sue them for the money but to charge them for the crime they committed. I hope they’ve lost their license to practice medicine….because she can’t be replaced.
