I bordi giocano veramente un ruolo cruciale e sono uno dei fattori più importanti del fusto.
Fai attenzione a questo importante elemento quando scegli il tuo nuovo drum set o rullante.

Al minuto 3:50 dici che l'aggiunta di massa tramite i cerchi di rinforzo alza la fondamentale del fusto. Mi confermi che la alza e non l'abbassa? Mi sai dire se questo discorso della massa si nota anche nei fusti a doghe(che a rigore di logica a pari misura dovrebbero avere una fondamentale più acuta)? Grazie del video!

Ciao Mauro! Si, aggiungendo massa si alza la nota. Lo spiega spesso anche John Good di DW nei suoi video factory tour. Se ci pensi è la medesima cosa con i piatti; più spessore = nota più alta (poi in quel caso entrano in gioco tantissimi altri fattori come la curvatura, martellatura, forma della campana ecc..) I fusti a doghe hanno una fondamentale più alta ma anche la caratteristica di avere molto meno colla ed una trasmissione differente delle vibrazioni. Normalmente si aggiungono i cerchi di rinforzo nei fusti a doghe molto sottili. Dave
