This would sound killer acoustic with cello and violins. I was fortunate to see you guys live twice and meet your band in person about 30 years ago in Utah because my friend greedy Greg was your sound guy at the time and you are good friends with my brother Chance. I took my son to see you yesterday in SLC. I've seen endless concerts over the years but the two shows I saw of your band were among the best I've ever seen in my lifetime!

As i had once read, while jeremy doesnt sing about god in his lyrics, his reflection of god comes out of his absolutely stunning voice and absolute devotion to his craft. I can completely agree, his voice and lyrics come to me as otherworldly for a reason.

It's been since I got the rising tide and it kind of evolved so I kind of put dairy on the back burner 15 years later I'm in a store getting caramel frappuccino white bison. As soon as I heard the choirs I run to the bathroom and got sick and tears stained my cheeks.. I almost had a panic attack and I've never been hit with such nostalgia in my life

the worst part is that this comment that makes absolutely no sense was also "(edited)" did you write it while you were having a panic attack or a stroke

can anyone tell me chords in the bridge of this song?
@lawnshark0253 жыл бұрын
I'm not a guitar player so this might not be right. Pretty sure he's playing descending power chords (C power chord, then Bb power chord, then A power chord) but letting the note D ring out as a pedal tone over everything. On the A power chord he's altering the chord by going back and forth between the notes A and Bb. Starting at 3:45 he starts adding A as a pedal in addition to D. The proper music theory jargon names for these chords is weird because the C and A chords are technically quartal harmony, or chords stacked in fourths, but hopefully this should be enough info

Im an 80/20 bronze kinda guy but those strings sound like Phosphor bronze (little bit more even frequency response and mellower in the highs) and they sound really great with that guitar in that space. It really just depends on the guitar i guess. Every now and then i put some Phosphor Bronze strings on my Martin D10 and think "wow these sound great" then a couple weeks to a month later i put on some 80/20s again and think "oh damn this guitar just got 2x louder and fuller". But the extra volume and high end comes at the cost of even frequency response. Ok back to your regularly scheduled comments.

I was thinking how damn great the guitar sounds. Well balanced and he is banging at that thing. Maybe I need to try some Phosphor on my j200.
