Professor Hunter, I went to a Catholic School elementary school and I always felt even as a child that I was not being fully taught and that other things where happening, I did not know I was experiencing colorism, sexism and subtly racism, it took a long time for those experiences to flush out of my system. It is because as I grew I learned what and where the Catholic Church came from and helped me unpack a lot of trauma. I had to educate myself.

Again Dr. Carr, indeed the trauma is relived one generation to the following. I exiled outside the U.S. for five years, 13 - 18, my 40th through 45th years of life. I've concluded that I will not die here. The only means of certainty for me, that my bloodline won't come to an end at some point in the future, is to remove my genetic material and self from the equation. Again, Dr. Carr right on, I concur. The next 40 years will see my offspring born free of western trauma and possibly culture in its entirety. The African continent, Salvadore, Bahia, Southeast Asia,... the future is global.

Yessssss the more that we know who we are the more of a spotlight is shine on who they are and who their ancestors pretended to be and then whitewashed history as if they are saints to humanity this is one of the reasons why as I get older I understand my father's mindset on homeschooling all of his children because from his words he felt like the educational system was a slap in the face for African Americans !
