Yes Dr. Carr- it is thankless work, but my mission is to thank you all every single chance I get!!!!!!! I wish I could have thanked the ancestors who loved me/us in real time. I WILL THANK YOU EVERY CHANCE I GET!!! In the near future when my circumstances change because they will- I intend to do more. I OWE YOU BOTH so much- but of course no one can ever repay you because your contribution is out of this stratausphere- but I certainly intend to try. Much love and respect.

Good morning Prof Hunter and Dr. Carr- Thank you for loving US! YESSSS- I am so grateful that I was able to see the real true history of Little Richard!! I felt so very good to know that he did not transition without getting acknowledged for his contribution. What a complicated, creative, and inspirational soul. Always believed in voting and I have voted in every single election since I have relocated back here to Orange, NJ. "Voting is just one tool" thank you for always saying that when you do. I have been caretaker to my mother who took very ill these past couple of years, along with her neighbor who became disabled around the same time.- even when they couldn't make it to the voting booth- I made sure they were able to cast their vote. It is just that important to me. I am over- the- hill grateful for those who fought for me/us to do just that. Thank you to the Most High for them and people like you- who are selfless to the MAX!

I'm from Albany, Ga. And I can attest to the realness of the Carters and how they lived their lifes. They lived what they preached which includes how their church chose their black pastor. The Carters called out a lot of white folks for being prejudice and racists all of this happening at their church. I can truly say the Carters are not like some of their skin folks. 😊

I LOVED “Rustin.” For me, it wasn’t cartoonish - it was theatrical, directed by the prolific and masterful theater director, George C. Wolfe. Colman Domingo gave a free, loose and inspired unique performance. His Rustin might not be someone else’s performance but it was spirit-filled and well done. I’m all for seeing another version of “Rustin” but Domingo did the damn thing - in my humble opinion. I Loved Colman’s and Wolfe’s interpretation.

From the top- thanking you Prof. Humter and Dr. Carr. Wishing you a ver Happy Everything. Writing from Poland (again) out here in these streets in a very peculiar position. I am an artist/ entertainer by trade and, somehow got hooked up in the big tech industry- appointed as a communcations advisor. I thank God for miraculously making it so that I have a place at THAT table. Most of my energy is directed towards reminding these extremely intelligent and PRIVILEGED software designers and engineers to be mindful of what they are facilitating and who they are working for. Is it for business and finance or are we developing tools which, in the end will serve humanity? Interestingly, the conversation (at least on the surface) has turned to COMMUNITY, collaboration, cooperaton and communication. God works in mysterious ways.

The intro convo about Bev Biv Devo and the state of entertainment and entertainers was hilarious! because it was sooo on point. Time definitely brings about a change and no one is spared, but when you're young, no one believes it will happen to them. So they never see age coming. Thus, perhaps the reason for the saying is that youth is wasted on the young. If that was all you both talked about and ended there, it was worth the price of admission. 😅😂😊

Actually, we need to activate more Black people in the non metropolitan counties to vote. Many of these cities are majority African descended populated and European descended run. They need people that are putting boots on the ground with tangibles on why their votes are needed. I am a delivery driver over the entire state, for a living. I'm literally in the streets with the people. Actually, we need both. I stand in solidarity with your statement. Mine is just a double down on educating local participation.

It’s amazing how you make reference to Jesus’ witness to Nicodemus while using the words “true bafoon.” In that very passage, Jesus makes an example about choosing wisdom in your words in order to foster understanding and connection in your interactions with others - “lest your deeds should be reproved.” (John 3:20) How does the use of the words “true bafoon” bring life?
