I've experienced Patton's passion for food before performing. Many years ago before a Peeping Tom gig in Liverpool, UK. We were walking close to the venue a couple of hours before showtime. Patton walks up. We got talking. And he asked where any quality restaurants were. So we sent him to an authentic Spanish family run tapas place. Brilliant place. I just hope he found it. Oh, and he turned up on time to play the gig.

The first time Faith no More came to Brazil I was 12. I wanted so much to go to the show but I was too young for that. I love FNM, and for me MIke is a Mith. I became a wife, a mom and professional and life made me forguet of those things. But my teaneger daughter made me remember and I came to search what Mike is doing nowadays. The best thing I could do, I am very glad to see he is better then ever.

I visit and refer back to this video/conversation from time to time, my compliments on making this more than entertaining, but also valuable. More than once have I referred to or shared this conversation with a musician or artist (and others... ) I associate and/or partner with. And I always will have it on my list as a resource or example. I like to be able to have such a thing, no matter how invisible the value of simple conversation is in something, I save it. And it always comes in handy one day. Some are straight off valuable and those become permanent resource list fixtures. This is one of those things that from day one, shared its value. Thank you for what you do. Everyone involved, too. Money clothes the body of a not for profit. But things like this are the soul, the teachers and the uniting elements. Money cannot buy that. And an idea must persist and burn, in a slightly tortuous way... If it isn't covered and dies, its tragic. It is one less musician saved from stress induced death, One less music industry person with integrity because without knowledge, that one is just a business person, unaware of the imbalance. And so on. That said, I appreciated this and many will throughout time. 😍🤮

This was such an entertaining conversation! I mean, it was mainly focused on food, but I'm Italian so I was really happy about the topic :,) I think it would be entertaining to see Mike cooking italian stuff XD By the way, that cold pasta that was mentioning Mike we would call it "pasta fredda", but the recipe is not traditional because the worchester sauce is an ingredient that I've never seen in Italian recipes, it sounded tasty though, I would happily try it, honestly!

Great watch. It is making me miss London haha. There is Korean spot- a downstairs fancy restaurant near one of the tube stops near central that I always love.....cannot remember the name. I really love the Fullers Pubs in Chiswick like the Old Packhorse etc. Nothing like Cask ale. So true the correlation between music and food. Same for me on the road I live for those solo adventures finding those magic spots. ....I will take a magic food discovery over a groupie or getting wasted any day of the week......age and wisdom ha ha ...It is funny I am from Norcal as well and one day in my home town of Santa Rosa I ran into Trey from Bungle at Taqueria Santa Rosa and we ate mex food and talked for like 2 hours. He is super cool as well. Mr B shows in the early 90s were good times \m/

About the similarities between music and eating: they’re both ultimately sensuous activities aside from artistic. While watching the documentary on Anthony Bourdain, I pointed out how being a chef was like being a musician, you work towards achieving pleasure, for someone else’s and why not, for oneself. Doing something to hopefully pleasure others. Bourdain was like a rockstar, so associations came easily. As someone who hasn’t really fostered any artistic skill, I always wonder how great it would be to make a living through such rightfully glorified indulgence.
