And to talk about it, we caught hold of Anand Mahindra, with whom we discussed Mahindra’s intent with electric vehicles, new and upcoming vehicles and of course, the recent successes that the company had with the Mahindra XUV300 and the new flagship, the Alturas G4.

I don't understand why the cars we launch in India have all non indian names? Eg. Marrazzo is an italian name. I think products are more about emotions than just a product. So they must appeal at all levels. Marrazzo in Italy should be marrazzo but in India, no one understands what marrazzo even means. Same with Punto, Sienna etc etc. After coming to italy and learning italian I came to know that these are words which have meaning in Italian.

Its great to see Mahindra cars evolutional development and now reaching their pinnacle. Mahindra needs to streamline its vehicle, SUV, trucks, etc to Japanese and Korean auto manufactures, if they want to expand globally. I live in Australia, Mahindra is not that big here, with the exception Samyoung vehicles. Even they are struggling against Korean, and Chinese vehicles.

The 7th airbag is for protecting driver's knees and is of little use during an accident as the most vital organs of the body are in upper part

It sad that Mahendra is not development product for India how xuv 300 is great product it has less trunk space than WagonR It over price make. Half of booking all ready cancel it sad India company has no capabilities to develop fully in India product for India. In India even Renault design kwid just for India.
