I'm so proud of how far chess popularity has come. People may say Samay's role in growth was meh but honesty he made everyone including Anand Mahindra fall in love with the game. Now I may not get time to watch chess streams but I play 3-4 games everyday just because I have started to love the game. Also, we cannot forget the man, as Samay said his "partner-in-crime" Sagar bhai. He is the reason I found beauty in the game. I write this long comment with tears in my eyes and prayer & wishes in my heart for success of this league

Chess base is a big brand. Sagar is leading it with his dedicated work for Indian wing. Samay is someone who got luckily added to the friends circle of Sagar. There are 1000s of hard working chess promoters are there. Its just a pure luck he got the recognition to be in the team. After that he put his effort because he saw the business. Was a viewer of Samay's first stream, and seeing this now gives me goosebumps. It’s like I was a part of his journey. I subscribed to him after he announced while playing pubg on tanmay's channel that he'll upload videos once he reaches 10k subs. He was having about 5 to 6k subs when I subscribed. I wanted to see more of samay he felt like a great guy on Tanmay's streams. Then ig he did a few pubg streams and then came the chess stream with Balraj ghai.
