I've had the privilege of attending two of Dermot's shows so far. I would say that a perfect one-liner to sum up his performance would be that it's a time of powerful connection. At both shows, I felt a lovely sense of synergy with everyone in the room because we were all singing the same lyrics and feeling the depth of them, even though all our stories are totally different and what we attach to the meaning of the lyrics is so diverse. Dermot's music brings people together and it's an incredible thing to see so many people engaged in a show that's deep, uplifting, and focused. Both shows have felt like a safe place where everything else can be put aside for a while and I always came away with a clearer sense of who I want to be as an individual. It's really, really powerful art that can give a person that feeling each time.

I got to see Dermot in Nashville. I have loved his music from the beginning and I agree with him that I did not expect the performance and overall sound of the show to be as big as it was. It was breathtaking and absolutely beautiful. He is so very talented and I hope to see him again soon.

He probably doesn't like interviews and struggles to know what to say. In interviews you'll constantly get asked the same boring questions.

I find it endearing and authentic. He’s not trying to ‘sell’ himself in the interview. I personally would hate having to answer questions so I can’t blame him. 😊
