A great eye opener by Vikram Sampath! Was so good listening to him talk about the rich heritage of Bharat. Liked his title of Bharath and so well explained ,that the very name of Bharath gives one to think its rich heritage, culture and a great civilization. Great initiative! My education was set in Andhra (the united Andhra) state syllabus and we were taught about Cholas, Satavahanas, Rani Rudramma Devi etc. Now I will cross check what was taught in school text books to what’s explained in this book. I recently learned that Ashoka had converted to Buddhism even before the Kalinga war and not after the war as were taught (in the text books) Also, will eagerly learn about other brave hearts 🙏🏼

Very nicely explained that we do not have any single National Langauge. All 22 Languages are equal and same. Union Government should promote all langauges equally. Article 343 of constitution has to be amended. Thanks Vikram fot clearly explaing Hindi speakers attitude of not learning State language inspite of living there from so many years.

I hope Vikram Sampath covered Tararani in his book.? I can't find the table of contents of this book. Tararani was Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's daughter-in-law and had a huge role in Aurangzeb's downfall. She also defeated Aurangzeb and reduced his empire to a tiny area.
