Wonderful!! The masters, together on the sofa, having a chat... just let the camera run!

I met David Hurn for the first some 20 years ago. We were in the same line at some lunch event during the Rencontres d'Arles. He immediately struck me with his gentleness, kindness and quiet humour. Then I realised he was the author of several photographs I just loved. He has not changed. Thanks Martin for having him and sharing this moment with us.

Thank you for posting this video. What a wonderful conversation between two great photographers. I was lucky enough to briefly meet Martin Parr around 1990 when I was studying photography at Polytechnic SouthWest in Exeter (now University of Plymouth), and who should I see at 13:25 in your video - my photography tutor from that time, Jem Southam - a brilliant landscape photographer. His work most definitely deserves a place in the foundation.

Please can you tell me witch Lens is on the camera of David Hurn? Is it the 27mm pancake from Fuji? Or something different? The conversation in this video is great! Love it so much...
@WexPhotoVideo8 ай бұрын
David is holding the Fuji X100V - now replaced by the X100VI - which has a fixed 23mm f2 lens which is a 35mm equivalent focal length because of the APS-C crop factor.

You have to do a lot wrong not to get it right...opposite of photography really...you have to do a lot right not to get it wrong. I don't know if any young people would watch this, or people not from UK would get the humour, but to this old English guy this was funny and charming . Hope to see some more of these, soon. Jake.
