What a lovely story Michael. I have not used your paint before, but I have just added a few tubes to my Jackson's basket. Thank you for being so generous with your information and kindness of spirit.

You make wonderful paint Michael, it has become my favorite. You can definitely be proud of having your name on those tubes!

Love your oil paint MH. I wish you wrote a book with tips and insight for oil painters on your colours. :) I see that several "Master Oil Painters" in the world all have their book to sell. About time for a "Master Oil Paint maker" to also have a book. What do you think?

Great idea. I would buy it!

True, but Jackson’s does have several videos on his paints I found very very useful. Then I just became envious bc I wanted all those colors, but couldn’t afford them 😄. I am in love w/ his quinacridone gold. Simply gorgeous.

So interesting about the lottery win. We were doing a big extension on our house and we didn’t want a pillar but the steel beam was costing €1675 we were already out of contingency money so we decided to go ahead with the pillar the next week. That Saturday my husband got 5 numbers and won €1690. Our room is so much better.

I appreciate the character of each paint and your insistence where possible on single pigment colours. It gives me more control on the palette. Afterall why would one want to buy a simulated colour made of two or three pigments when one could mix it oneself (I'm beginning to sound like royalty) from the basic ingredients that your range offers. I also appreciate the 'punch' of your pigment density- no fillers. Have you thought of making brushes?

When will Turners Yellow be available?

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but I do not know the meaning/distinction behind the 'SERIES 1, SERIES 2, SERIES 3'... etc. Is there a link or page somewhere that explains this? I do not see a 'Series #' listed with the description, on several online retailers. I think you should do more talks straight into the camera like this one! It is so very informative. Thanks for posting.

Hi Steven, thank you for your comment - great to hear you found the video informative. So with series numbers in regard to oil paint, this is usually referring to the price point - with Series 1 being the most affordable and the paints going up in price depending on the number. Michael Harding paints have 7 Series, with 7 being the most expensive - this is determined mainly by the cost of the pigment used in the paint. We hope this helps, all the best, the Jackson's team.

@@JacksonsArtSupplies TY for your help! It means everything when a true Professional personally responds to the general public. One more question. Mark Boedges recommends Blue Ridge or Lafranc brands for the purist neutral temperature bias white oil. Can you recommend one of your whites with the same totally neutral white? TY TY!! I'm choosing your paints everytime I need to replenish one of my tubes.

@@stevenshackelford1937 I use Jacksons Titanium White which I have found a good mixing white across the spectrum plus it seems slightly looser than most other brands which I find quite helpful when mixing although I do use Michael Harding Warm White if I want something for mixing with purely warmer colours.

I have many colours from your range, can not seem to buy your stack lead white though. jacksons and lavender don't seem to stock it.

Given the current situation, and the clear and justifiable priorities, I hope this question does not seem inappropriate, but will Lapis Lazuli be withdrawn after current stock is sold or will you use other sources?
