At first until today, until this moment I use to wonder why Sir Niki is selected as the President of K. I have judged a book by it’s cover. In my observation ever since the break up of NNC into various factions, a few Naga tribes took advantage of the situation and joined these break away factions in mass. This has led to massive migration of these tribes into Dimapur leading to large scale settlement by the help of guns and intimidation. Now, these same tribes claim to represent Nagas, when at the same time use their guns and factions to further the cause of their own tribes. How can they expect Nagas to be united under their leadership when all they have shown is selfish ambitions?

Collective mindset of Nagas is yet infantile,like it or not.Adopting modern mannerism is one thing but minds are not yet evolved..The minds are not far looking to understand cause and effect. Any challenges are meted out with quick fix solutions If things don't work their way ..cho pick the gun. Let's fight till the last bullet. To outsiders, we have rivalry for resources so will get together as naga With insiders,naga identity is replaced by tribal identity.Hence rivalry for dominance comes into play. People may superficially say it's better if we unite. But,that's impossible. Human mind goes back to older traits of head hunting times. Foreign missionaries were professional in bringing monumental changes . Now, its all local . They can not do nothing . The more the democratic liberty is granted,more the state of anarchy. The wish is to be ato kilonsers in every colony and every street.

What have Nagaland achieved in the last 50-60 years of its existence?! Potholes and Unemployment!! Why potholes ?! Because of poor research and understanding of the terrain and infrastructural plans and no scientific and innovative approach ( even if there is it's not showing any results ! And also please don't Blame the insufficient fund !!! Because even a penny can do miracles) !!! Why unemployment?! Poor education systems that leads to poor literate but unskilled individuals and depended mindset that aren't exposed to the reality of the ever-changing world !!! If the people which are the highest asset and resource of a Nation or state is not being equipped with what they need to be armed with to hold the country or state together and mend it! Then what's the use ?! The people need a zeal and for that the people need to be equipped from a child to contribute to the society and above all the Nation !! The state government or the Nation government if need be for the better good can become a tyrant or an iron hand for the outmost need !!! Be forceful sometimes not in atrocities but for the people to work and build and stand for the Nation !! Singapore's government and its policies from where to how they have come is a great example!!

It's usually the top of the party that likes to break away for their personal benefit without any feeling of nationhood or brotherhood among the Nagas. Anything can be achieved if we are united.
