#53SGS #ConfrontingScarcity
Speakers
Ali Aslan
International TV Host, Moderator & Journalist
Yulia Navalnaya
Chairwoman of the Advisory Board, Anti-Corruption Foundation; Advocate for Democracy
In this special dialogue, Russian democracy advocate Yulia Navalnaya will reflect on the scarcity of an intangible, precious good which is increasingly being threatened across diverse geographies: political freedom and democracy. Building on the legacy of her late husband, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, she will provide insights on the role of the opposition in today's Russia and what perspectives there may be for democratisation.

ABOUT THE ST. GALLEN SYMPOSIUM
The St. Gallen Symposium is the world’s leading initiative for intergenerational debates on economic, political and social developments. The symposium takes place annually in May at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.
The St. Gallen Symposium is annually organised by the International Students’ Committee (ISC), an independent student initiative at the University of St.Gallen. For ten months, a team of approximately 30 students voluntarily engages in the challenging task of organising an outstanding St. Gallen Symposium. During the symposium week, the ISC Team is supported by about 450 student volunteers. Three members of last year’s team are taking up the role of Head of the Organising Committee.

Go Julia! It was such a black day for all the world when Alexei died, it seemed like evil can thrive and Putin can get away scott free with his monstrous crimes. And yet you have kept hope alive for all of Russia and all people who pray for democracy, and for everybody who believes in Good; in honesty and freedom of speech. You are an inspiration! You have the support of so many ordinary people around the world! If we can help you in any way, please tell us. It is enough that the good do nothing for evil to take over. We must all do what we can, no matter how small. But we love you, and everything you stand for! Thank you for your courage. Fortune favours the Brave, and only the Brave!

What will be able to make Europe to Russian regarding this issue I would say anything. Europe afraid from the Russian Europe will agree with Russian decisions because they have no other choices because Europe very well known that how is country Russia principal, strong, and etc. Almost 3 year has started war between Russia and ukraina European countries and America hasn't be able to do anything. 2 million people died in this was in my opinion it is very big game by world but nobody doesn't realize
