I am one of Irfan Sahab's biggest fans and the work being done by Jashn-e-Rekhta is amazing. Which is why it is slightly confusing why Ms. Razdan was chosen as a guest. She is neither comfortable with Urdu/Hindustani, nor has the body of work that warrants special mention. Disappointed that stardom by association was given importance in the choice of the guest. There are plenty of other NSD/FTII alumnus who have done yeoman service to the craft. Rubaru as well as JER have always showered prominence on such artists and hope that'll continue in future.

I was posted in Kashmir Valley and thus understood Kashmiris. The genuine Kashmiris belong to the pure Aryan race and Muslim Kashmiris are converts from Hindu Kashmiris thus share all except religion. The Kashmiri Brahmans a very tiny community and along with the Zoroastrians are among the most respected ethnic groups globally. Like the Zoroastrians the Kashmiris (both Muslims and Hindus) and we Jat-Sikhs never marry outside our clan. In fact if my progeny marries outside I shall have nothing to do with him or her. Her father belongs to the Kashmiri Brahman community. The genuine Bhagwad Gita (not planted and manipulated ones placed by some foreigners in the market) describes outside marriage thus. See a genuine Zoroastrian site on the internet which among others mentions: The Hindus say inter-marriage is WRONG as well
