Steve is such an eloquent talented man. He is a chameleon, of the league of David Bowie.

I hate to bring "him" up, but Steve must've gleaned a few nuggets for Partridge material from this chap. "I think [glove puppets] are quite clever. I saw them with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir before!"
@cvsdigital7 жыл бұрын
'He looks bored' ...no he doesn't!....'interviewer sucks'...no he doesn't....'Steve Allen asking the shittiest most boring questions ever.'....no he isn't - his questions are intelligent, controlled and measured. One of the best, relaxed, interviews with Steve Coogan I've seen.

cvsdigital and Steve 'saw the Muppets with the Mormon tabernacle choir' must have blown Coogan's mind the mere thought of it....

I was born in 75 and feel i grew up in the last part of a classic time in British history were the country was more of a community then it could ever be again
@actionjaxon75703 жыл бұрын
Do you think thatcherism had a part in that
@theknowerandtheknown3 жыл бұрын
@@actionjaxon7570 I can't answer that definitively but I can vaguely remember events like the Royal Jubilee where the entire street had a street party together. There wasn't a general feeling of guilt about the past or someone to tell you that you should feel bad about it. Whatever kings, Queens and governments do around the world, almost every time, has nothing to do with its people. Back in the day people loved England because it was our/is our home.

Dear LBC please stop cranking up the bass on your mics. It makes it sound horrible and booming.
@mikethemusicman19789 жыл бұрын
+koopification This might be the raw feed direct from the desk to the camera.. they wouldn't need to input the feed to the camera via the compressors.
@jtpinnyc6 жыл бұрын
Only Coogan's voice sounded boomy, which leads me to believe that either they're using different mics or Coogan just has a naturally bassy voice.
@basehead6176 жыл бұрын
NPR started that terrible shit.
@mikethemusicman19784 жыл бұрын
@@jtpinnyc Steve just naturally has a bassy deep voice, and the feed is taken from the main outputs which includes all the processing, so that's why it sounds the way it does.

Bet one of the reasons he doesn't want to write an autobiography is that people would like to know about him knobbing Courtney Love and Owen Wilson trying to kill himself. Shit, I'd buy it for those subjects alone.

What the fuck are these people watching who say this is a bad interview or that the interviewer is crap. This is a great interview and the interviewer does a fine job. It's the job of an interviewer to get the interviewee talking and steer the conversation toward interesting things and this is exactly what he does.

Steve like many of is generation who were born into a lower middle class family desire to be working class. Why?
@edrooney95805 жыл бұрын
Because the middle class are pawns of the upper class..also the majority of people are lower class...its normal to want to fit in with the majority
@rainblaze. Жыл бұрын
He doesn't. It's an affectation in order to be liked by the greater "lumpenpolatairiot" ie his audience. He probably doesn't even vote labour either in real life either (there used to be a sitcom about a luvvie who lived in mansion and publicly supported labour but secretly voted tory, he, to me, could be him) If given choice do you really think these people would have wanted to grow up on a council estate in Liverpool or Manchester? Not having his continental holidays, and not having the opertunities and security that this type of upbringing brings, would have meant he would have been less likely to have ever gone on to drama collage and had the career he has had which afforded him his multiple asten martins. Someone who drives AM's is not ashamed of being austantacious about aboyt the fact, he is most certainly not working class.
