i highly recommend his 'from the oasthouse' on audible, it's exquisite, and series 2 is out in September. I've listened to it several times now and it remains excellent. 'This Time' is amazing too. I think the more recent stuff is much funnier than the original material, Steve Coogan is a genius.

Pretty sure it's all scripted, Ross clearly has a sheet of paper there with his list of prompts, takes nothing away from the craft tho, all the greats did it that way, Parkinson always lamented that he regretted having to do this with Les Dawson, Tommy Cooper and Frankie Howerd because he wanted to get nearer 'the person' but they wouldn't come on unless it was scripted

(Now the M60 Motorway) it was during a Heavy snow storm ,As he walked away from the Shelter We shouted to him" Watch out for the Small trench Which he immediately fell into 😊 and eventually climbed out covered in snow and yet still trying to look cool (He wasn't) He did manage to save the Bottle of Southern Comfort from smashing though.
