Dolores looks extra beautiful in this interview. More so than usual but i always get the feeling watching her interviews that there is pain and sorrow and depression behind her beautiful eyes. Rip sweet angel you are dearly missed.

Agree, she seems an honest and sincere and sweet soul...but an element of deep pain underlying. Maybe it's just the honesty that we're picking up on. Because we all have the pain. Some more than others though.

How can that kind of energy (personality/soul) just not exist suddenly. It must be out there somewhere.

It's a shame they didn't realise the impact of zombie. It's release coincided with the start of the peace process, but on a personal level it expressed the absolute disgust i had towards the everyday violence in the north. I was born 3 years after the troubles started and peace didn't happen until i was in my mid 20's. My childhood and my generation grew up with violence and terrorism (including state terrorism). This song was a release of those emotions of disgust. This song will always be special. Rest in Peace Dolores.

Fun fact, the surname O'Riordan means "royal bard (poet)," so she wasn't the first entertainer in her family. I'm sure the earliest Rhioghbhardain (the old Gaelic name) would've been pleased to have her among his many descendants. It's sorta funny how every one calling her the queen of Limerick when she's technically the royal bard of Limerick. I call her the queen of keen because it rhymes and the Irish have a thing for keening.

"They say that good people are always first to drop" That lyric hits different now. She was too good, too pure, too generous for this world. It's such a shame because she had so much left to give. I wish I could've met her but hopefully one day in the afterlife. RIP Dolores ❤

Feel really bad for the bad members. Such a talented group. So many of us are SO very sad at the loss of Dolores.... Great music with the most distinguishable and beautiful voice of Dolores O'Riordan. Dolores, we will miss you and your passion. We will pray for your children and family. When you awake again in the future, this planet will be the place you longed for it to be. NO WAR anywhere, no abuse, no mental illnesses and no death. It will be beautiful like you. It is a promise from the God you loved so we can depend on it to happen. "Wars to cease" Psalms 46:9, "NO more wicked people" Psalms 37:9-29, NO more sickness" Isaiah 33:24, "NO more DEATH" 1 Corinthians 15:26, Revelation 21:3,4

Well, she was Irish. To be honest, I'm a Yankee and went to school in NC for college and said I liked both UNC and Duke and everyone wanted to stone me. Me: "No, No, I like UNC Track and Duke basketball! What's the problem?!" Apparently that's still a sin. Sooo, I can totally understand Delores...and miss her even more.

8:40 'I've never been in that situation, so I don't know, to be honest' pre-2012 and post-2012 Dolores are like two totally different people. I still wonder why even her mother, in articles and interviews, has repeatedly stated the same.

Wow what a game changer this interview was for me at least! Zombie was for me and I'm sure by the sales one of the greatest anti-war anti-terrorism songs ever written and they don't have a clue whether it had any impact on the violence in Ireland or the world for that matter. What I thought was insight into the heart aches of this world was nothing more than a spring board to fame and fortune. Assumed I did. She's still cool just not God anymore! i

If the two warring Irish communities were so similar culturally and genetically, how will it go now completely alien communities are being imposed abruptly into Ireland, some totally incompatible culturally and vastly different genetically? Why will that not be War? What naive optimism drives these policies? Allover Ireland, Europe and the Western World an apocalyptic battleground is being prepared and I cannot see it ending well, whether by the gradual escalation of street conflict or the slow strangulation of a particularly bizarre and oppressive religion whose name we dare not utter. Why is this being done to us?
