Love Tom Holland and have watched many of his interviews. He is very near the Kingdom.

Wonderful book! I've started! Amazing how a historian can be so brilliant in articulating the truthfulness of the crucifixion, and still not believe. Tom, its not a leap into the darkness, but a step towards the light. God has provided enough reasons to believe in the Gospel intellectually. I would have loved this conversation to have continued. Nicky, could you have Tom back on to take questions? I would ask, "As a historian, do you believe the resurrection actually happened?" Maybe, you're not sure if Christianity is true, but do you believe miracles are possible?

well, he might say he does not believe, but he is faithful to the story, uses the right language, does not shy away that Jesus life is the pivot of all that we are and all that is going on and will be happening soon, with His return

his only issue is the struggle for humility. he will arrive perhaps to the idea of humility is far better than glamour and intellectual learning

I think I have just witnessed one of the dumbest things ever said at 6:57. An Amateur Historian with NO academic credentials says that the Cosmos makes sense because of the BC/AD dating system rather than the cosmos' physical rotation and Lunar cycle. Therefore he is stupidly saying that man has created the cycle and it is not created through physics. He's saying that we have identified the cycle based on the crucifixion of Christ in the NT story, which is all it is, a story.
