Good series but certainly not excellent. Too much Hollywood political BS, and glossing over critical events in favor of made up nonsense.

Can’t believe they didn’t ask Callum about the parachute scene

What does that have to do with the finale? Plus, he was not the only actor who had a parachute scene.

I want to watch this so bad but its actually painful listening to the interviewer. He's so bad at asking questions even if the question itself may be good its the way he asks them 😐

MotA most certainly did not stick its landing. It crashed and burned. The show couldn't decide on whether they wanted to focus on its 4 main characters or to highlight all other contributors to the war effort. From episode 5 on, it had WOKE written all over it. There was absolutely no reason to put the female SOE and the black airmen in the series. They had nothing to do with the bomb group. It took away airtime from the men whose story they were telling In the end, they wasted a bunch of airtime on irrelevant things. Failed to show why the bomb group were necessary in the war and why the bombers were heroes.

Wow, you focus on the woke rather than the great history. Thank goodness for the Red Tails and it is great they got their due. I wish the series was 13 episodes.

@MrSpock-wc2sy what history? They skipped all of the important missions the bombers went on. We now have to go Google what Black Week and all the other raids were about. Rosie was on his 3rd mission and in the next episode he was in his 25th! So they skipped his history too. On one hand, the writers just assumed that we already know a lot about WWII. But at other moments, they used exposition as if we were toddlers. They didn't tell anything about the Tuskegee mission either. They flew in the Mediterranean theatre. We don't know whether their missions contributed to anything. You're just glad to see black people being represented, but I care for the storytelling.

@@akiheavenly6 my guy did you want them to show all of Rosie's 25 missions? Did you want them to show all of buck and bucky's missions too? The 100th did 306 missions did you want them to show all of those too? Brother they showed the missions that were important for the character's arc that we were following. If they showed air raids in every episode it'd be super repititive and hence boring af. This was not supposed to be like band of brothers and the Pacific, it was supposed to be it's own thing and it is.
@Cucuy2227 ай бұрын
@@akiheavenly6the only reason they mentioned the Tuskegee was because they were literally in the same POW camp as the 100th so at that point they were basically considered a part of the 100th. Y'all are acting as if they introduced the Tuskegee and just made them disappear. They were there with the boys from the 100th. If they weren't they wouldn't have been mentioned. There was no reason to show more or less of them.

I wish it was 3 seasons long. They touched on a lot. Now we can all go on line and watch amazing movies like 12 O'clock High and The Best Years of their Lives and continue our gain of knowledge of that time. I loved Band of Brothers. My father landed in Normandy. I love war history. It is hard to cover it all. @@akiheavenly6
