Excellent video! Editing is absolutely top-notch, especially that intro! (The gunshots in sync with the music at 2:10 are particularly spicy) It gave a great overview of the positive aspects of the game and the fun that can be had with it. The effort you put into this really shows and I think it was 100% worth it!

I enjoyed my time in night city. But i understand it could've been better. I personally feel like the story suffered once they got Keanu on board. the guys on up wanted to milk his star power. However i will say i enjoyed his performance overall.

No need to defend it. It's one of the best game in history, even with all its bugs, and that's saying something. What people truly hate is CDPR, and specifically, their management and marketing teams, and their lies, and then releasing before it was finished. They're as bad as EA.

While true, there is a huge amount of people that believe that Cyberpunk is a bad game even while not having played it before. This was moreso talking to them as well as people that liked the game. The marketing team definitely had a part to play for sure

@@MegaMadVladMMO I call them childish 1d 10 t1c gamers. Believe me, I used to be one, and the reason is simple. Whenever a really good game I really wanted to play but can't because the graphics are so good my cheap computer can't run it, I say it sucks without ever playing it. For me it was the entire total war series. My computer never could run a single one of them, and I kept talking shit about the series. Yes, I was very childish.

Cyberpunk 2077 great story, game play and improved since the latest patch. Not in Defence of CDPR, for pushing for a unfinished release, or the fact when this game was designed, CDPR knew what hardware was available , they knew the limitations of this hardware. Yet they sell a buggy , unfinished, unpolished and generally a very unfinished product, Knowingly to people and Ban people showing console game play, to help there customers make an informed decision. No Excuses For That.

The bugs and release situation was also not what I was speaking in defense of. My points were for the aspects of the game that were actually great overall and very enjoyable. Bugs in games are inevitable, sometimes games release to a lot more like Cyberpunk did. Regardless, that was all people talked about for the game and I saw there was more to it than just bugs and reception.

Good summary on why Cyberpunk is a good game, my one critique is that it seems you spend a little too much time explaining the game itself instead of talking about your experience and how you feel about them. Or maybe the video is for people who didn’t finish the game, in that case ignore what I said. For my personal experience, I followed all of Cyberpunk’s marketing throughout, and needless to say I was disappointed because of that. Doesn’t help that it crashes every hour on ps5. After a few months, I got the game on pc. Now that I have reasonable expectation on the game, I learnt to appreciate the game for what it is, and not what I want it to be or what it should’ve been based on their shady marketing, and it is a good one. My favourite mission is Pyramid Song where you go scuba diving with Judy, after hours of senseless violence and messed up stories in NC it felt like Judy have shared a private paradise with you, along with the BD the sense of intimacy in the cold dystopia just hits me hard, and missions like these is where Cyberpunk truly shined for me. Not to discount other missions, they’re all memorable in their own way and very fitting to the cyberpunk genre. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the Sinnerman mission with Joshua, it made me reflect on V’s morality in her survivor mindset and in true cyberpunk fashion the whole thing became a product that profits the corps.

Very much appreciate the critique, going forward with these types of videos I'll consider my opinion more as well. Thank you ^^ I definitely agree that the Pyramid mission was great for sure, I didn't want to spend just too much time on the narrative section of the video and have it eclipse all the other sections. However having a few other examples to talk about rather than just the Peralez question might be more beneficial.

I have several hundred hours of Cyberpunk streams under my belt, in ultra hard mode (the mode in which the game is supposed to be played) And currently, more than 700 hours of play. From experience, I think I can say that Cyberpunk's problem comes down to 3 key points: 1: playing in "easy or normal" mode ruins the interest of the game mechanics, because these game modes are intended for very casual players. The player is literally a God, capable of killing everything in 1 attack, invincible... Worse: the player manages far too easily to avoid being detected by the NPCs or the cameras. 2: A lot of choices have long-term, even very long-term consequences. Whether it's a few sentences during a dialogue or received by SMS giving a new perspective, or impacting the course of a mission much later in the game... The problem is that you need a very good knowledge of the game to realize all these details. 3: Players are stupid. I'm not kidding. Most play V like a Cyberpsycho, killing anything in their path, because they're playing on "too easy" mode and risking nothing. Even during missions where it is specifically requested by the Fixer not to show violence... By fighting more than necessary in a world that is too easy, players are depriving themselves of a lot of gameplay opportunities. For example : "The player's mission is to "eliminate" a person running an underground club". Most players playing in "normal" mode will enter the club, aggro everything that moves, kill absolutely all the gang members present... loot weapons and clothes... And leave without giving it a second thought. Without even going into the small room, there in the back, where there is a data terminal. And without even reading the data shard found on the table near the manager's body. They could have avoided the fight, which would have given them access to dialogue options with the NPC, to convince him to leave the city... To avoid the fight, instead of entering through the main door, they could have gone through a window on the second floor of the building next door... Or sneak into a room to deactivate the security cameras, before quietly disabling each guard... The "Netrunner" option deactivating the optics of the guards to pass without their knowledge is also accessible... But there is more. The "life path" can help for some dialogues. It's easier to convince a "Corpo" when you were a Corpo yourself... By exploring the different terminals accessible in the club, players can find exchanges of emails, giving a perspective on events that nobody could have imagined... It is even possible that the manager, after having been spared by V, will contact him again later by SMS to thank him. On the other hand, it is possible that NPCs will be hostile in another mission, much later, if the player has been "seen killing" in this club... It is even possible to make certain missions inaccessible simply by provoking the aggressiveness of an NPC... But OK... The "guides" accessible everywhere on the net say "98% of the dialogues are without consequences"... it must be true, right? FALSE. Actions, whether in main or side missions, have consequences. Not all. But much more than people think.
@cato3277
@cato3277 2 жыл бұрын
Regardless, it should have been more. Every mission should have had the same amount of player agency and choice that The Pickup had; that's where people's real issue with choices comes from. Also wish it had more effect on the open world - for example, perhaps if you spare Oda he could randomly appear (very rarely) in set instances during specific times (perhaps after a gig) to fight you, and you'd then need to deal with him. Just touches like that would make the world much more believable.

Katana's in my opinion are the most overpowered weapon and build in the game when creating a cyberninja built. All the slow down cyberware with Sandvistan makes you a Demi God basically. So much god damn fun. Especially the Special Katana Wakako gives you that literally lets you Jump attack at enemies from like 30 feet away.

I haven't gotten around to making a full on melee build just yet myself but I've seen people work the Mantis Blades pretty well with Sandevistan as well lol I don't know what it is, but I naturally gravitate toward Pistols, sneaking, snipers, and hacking lol
@MistahJay7
@MistahJay7 Жыл бұрын
@@MegaMadVladMMO It's a lot of fun. I still use Pistols especiallu Johnnys special pistol and the occasional Shotgun as my back up weapons so Im not 100% Katana's all the time. I find the Mantis Blades to be a little less fun then Katana's and not as powerful either in the late game.

@@MistahJay7 That's the great thing about games like this, the replay value of making different builds alone is fantastic! Also correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I saw at one point that blocking with a Katana can sometimes block bullets?

@MistahJay7 Жыл бұрын
@@MegaMadVladMMO Unfortunately you cannot block bullets. I thought the same too but it really doesn't matter when you build your character like a tank that barely takes damage with fast movement speed added with invisibility cloak and sandvistan pretty much makes me untouchable lol
