In-Depth Hard Clue Scroll Guide! 27 Clues/hr! [Runescape 3] My Set-up & How I solve each step

Note: As this guide was released before Archaeology, I would recommend the following relics: *Abyssal Link* (no need to use runes ever again; saves on inventory space. Seriously though, this one is a godsend for Clue Scroll grinding.) Endurance (not strictly needed if you have the globetrotter boots); otherwise Persistent Rage. Grace of Shadows (if and only if you don't have Mobile on one of your weapons); otherwise Persistent Rage or Fury of the Small. These are all very helpful. Additionally: If you've completed the Fur N' Seek list (after the two Odd Old Man quests), you can skip the invitation box entirely (use the Skeletal Horror teleport instead--it's faster and saves an inventory space. It's the green S on your spellbook's teleports.) Finally, if you have extra inventory space thanks to any of the above, I'd add a *Legends Cape* to the list of items to take with you. It's extremely fast when doing the picnic table map clue there. You can also add in *Archaeology teleports* (for 250 Chronotes each from Ezreal at the Archaeology Guild) or (less expensive but needing Death to the Dorgeshuun to be complete) *Goblin Village Spheres* to get to General Bentnose more easily (or, on the off chance you have a pyramid plunder scepter, swap out the master camo outfit for the master arch outfit), or a *Sixth Age Circuit* / *Master Quest Cape* for the Arandar red spiders coordinate. (I'd honestly strongly consider replacing the Slayer Helmet with one of these, seeing as portable Fairy Rings cover the Jokul's Tent teleports. You can also replace Traveler's Necklace if you want, since Sixth Age Circuit and Wicked Hood cover some of its more relevant locations)

I was so stoked to get the totem of treasure, but big game hunter was evil, first 2 totem pieces took around 160kills, the treasure one took an additional 60ish kills, for around 220 kills, but I did get a hunter pet at the SAME time.

The best way to the dwarven cannon boxes is slayer cape tele to kuradal, walk down north stairs and take the log next to the waterfiends. Then walk a little northeast. You could also use the ancient cavern fairy ring tele

This is a really great comprehensive guide for hards, I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone go into this depth before and I can tell you worked really hard on this - it'll be awesome for anyone wanting to get into clues, just a couple of things to add and tips for anyone who doesn't have the best setup: If you're lucky enough to have a sceptre of the gods then that holds 20 charges with Desert tasks so it's far more manageable for that Sophanem emote, and if you don't have it or theCamo outfit you can recharge a regular sceptre with noted artefacts so its not too bad, just remember to bring artefacts with you when you have 1 charge left Chipped Camelot tabs are kind of nice for putting you within a few steps of a charter ship (for chartering to Port Sarim for the Trader Stan anagram, for chartering to Brimhaven for the Izzy No Beard anagram, and for chartering to the Karamja shipyard for a co-ordinate clue there) For anyone who doesn't have Globetrotter armguards, getting to Ramara du Croissant in Pisc is just as quick (providing you're not in combat) if you use the Eagles Peak lodestone and right-click travel on the NPC with a boat right next to it, putting you right next to the tunnel into Pisc If you don't have Slayer cape you can get to the purple smoke clue using a DG cape to the Varrock sewer moss giant resource dungeon, it takes the same amount of time You can cut down to just 1 rune pouch if you're willing to fill it with Law/Mud/Smoke or Law/Mist/Lava etc - more expensive but perhaps worth it if you want an extra inventory space There are also Goblin Village teleport spheres for getting to Bentnose, which you can make by taking molten glass and law runes to Oldak in Dorgesh Kaan in the same way you'd make Dorgesh Kaan spheres with him for the elite scan there. But if you get lucky you'll usually have enough backpack charges to skip a lot of puzzle box steps anyway. Wildy and Entrana steps are pretty rare so you'll definitely have charges left over to skip NPCs which give out puzzles

Also, for the Observatory clue, if you zoom out enough, you can rotate your camera correctly enough were you can 1 click the box through the wall and not have to click at all. Might be a little slower not using bladed dive/surge, but it's a nice one click and only a few moments slower.

Have you considered using the support cape to combine DG & Slayer capes? if you have it equipped then after the first time you use it each session, you can right-click it to directly trigger dg or slayer perks, no slower than doing it on separate capes in inventory

Really nice guide. At 20:52 you can actually dig in front of the cauldron, it saves a bit. I had no idea that one could get 25 hard clues in 45 minutes - 1 hour on Hellhounds. I used to take 1 hour and 20 minutes on average. I'll see if I can get soon that coil, I had no idea how to get it before.

He's using the Globetrotter shorts (runescape.wiki/w/Globetrotter_shorts) to automatically do the emote. If you have the full Globetrotter outfit, it will act as if you are wearing whatever is needed for the emote (as long as it is in the hidey-hole).

if u replace the camoflage gear with the crystal teleport seed, u lose a few teleports, save 4 inventory slots... (for clue removals) and by effect make urself lighter for faster surge/mobility abilities runescape.wiki/w/Attuned_crystal_teleport_seed could use an update... but otherwise great... hell with the arch relic u could lose the pouches and probably half of the stuff in inventory

27 is so many! The best I have done was 23 but, I do not use alt 1 or a portable ring/tree. Find it hard to believe they would slow me down 4 clues though. What amazes me most however is your clue gathering times! I have been tracking my last 850 clues (Saving the caskets) and every 25 has taken me 60 to 90 minutes with a coil. Can my RNG really be that bad or are you just lucky?

What about your actionbar? or gear? I'm using t99 prayer + overloads Make sure you use corruption blast all the time and try to use caroming 3 on a staff for 5 hits with chain and it'll definitely speed it up. I typically take 30-60 mins and on bad gather times maybe 70 mins or so with a coil :D

@soligen Music The seed is more efficient just for prif. Which there is only 1 step in hards (i use the seed for masters) I use the camo outfit for cat door pyramid + the 1 prif clue in hards. Camo outfit is unlimited free teleports to the cat door pyramid and getting the passage allowed me to get it. The elven land clues are teleported to with Tirannwn quiver so no need for seed there either :D

Using totem of treasure, alt 1 and teleporting from place to place, I can only do maybe 10 hard clues an hour. I'm impressed you can do 25+. Am I just slow?

for pyramid i use dungeon teleport tap and run north
