When it comes to Puro Puro, you don't need to be as absolutely hardcore as some other series. I really like when series like this realize their mental limits and life balance and make exceptions, such as allowing Puro Puro but not requiring 100% completion of it. It is your series, don't feel too much pressure to make it so stressful that you want to quit it, otherwise there's no point to do it at all. Just add Puro as a passive background task. You'll love it, we'll love it, and we'll get lots of great videos out of it.
@MaikeruRS6 ай бұрын
I was planning on doing puro puro but by bit alongside my other grinds if I was to unlock it early. Like I can do some, then back to hellhounds, then WC, then puro puro, then repeat. Nice to break up the grind and thankfully my chunk has so many different ones! :D Appreciate the feedback as always though, I may do that passive training with farming if I don't have 82 by everything else is done

Honest question here: why lamp into hunter if the fox events become more and more exp efficient with level? You could sort of coast into Puro Puro lvl req's while working on the huge woodcutting/fletch/fm grind while using your lamps to get gains in other areas. One way or the other you're definitely going to get those levels. The question is do you want to sprint towards that grind or kinda jog up to it and take it as it comes.

Top notch content, loving these vids! I'd like to suggest either closing your RuneLite sidebar or to cut it out from your recording section. Watching from mobile makes it close to impossible to see what's on there anyway, it kinda just ends up taking up 1/6 of the screen for no reason. I guess the argument is that the loot tracker is interesting over such an extreme amount of time in a concentrated area, but I feel like you're better off highlighting the sidebar if there's something to be noted there, keeping it tucked away when out of focus.
@MaikeruRS6 ай бұрын

Commenting to support. Keep up the good work Brother Maikeru. Have you considered making Puro Puro passive training until you unlock Zanaris? Then you go as hard as you want on it but aren't stuck there if you finish all the other chunk tasks first. You already took on a whole lot of grinds in just this video. This chunk is adding a ton of value to your account, no doubt about that. I wonder if maybe saving some time by treating access to implings through crop circles a passive way to train hunter and a primary way to advance your account with better gear and supplies might not only make your current grinds easier but set you up for success for the adventures that are coming with future chunks. Bit I'm a bit biased...the chunk rolls are my true dopamine love 😂
@MaikeruRS6 ай бұрын
Yeah haha, I've considered a lot of diff things, even making farming passive etc. But I don't like making too many exceptions - unless the grind is actually a meme grind (Like 1k+ hours) then I don't think I'll want to make it passive and/or backlog it, even if it means rolling will take a bit longer, I'll be able to roll more smoothly with higher stats when i start at least!

So itd be something that isn't a requirement, but if you receive items then you now can impact the requirements you had on backlog. So you could puro-puro max, but only if you wanted to rather than a requirement. That being said, you make your own path and we'll watch :)

I would not object making puro puro a chunk task for when you unlock the Lost city. Likewise shooting stars is something I wouldn't count as chunk tasks. They aren't really specific to the chunk since they are in so many chunks, even if you can access them there. It's in every chunkman series I've seen so it has lost its edge for me lol Of course Maikeru does what he wants to but I would not object if he skipped puro puro, especially if it risks burnout for the series.

Man if Verf AND Limpwurt are saying Puro drove them up a wall you know it's bad. Good luck 😁

Yeah, so its a scary one! But fortunately i have lots of different grinds to mix it up with, which they didn't!

Both Verf and Limpwurt said that puro puro is one the toughest grind they have done. So be prepared.
