For many years, I've always dreamed of, wished for, and prayed for a clock collection, and collect clocks like this one! Thank you for posting!

Well let's hope in the future you'll be able to start your own :) check for estate sales in your area if you want to get some clocks for cheap prices. I always make sure they work though before purchasing.

James, your Sligh clock is very beautiful and sounds absolutely marvelous. And the chime goes very fast, kind of reminds me of a Tradition mantel clock with a W. Haid movement

I've got this clock. Loved your video. I was hoping to get some insight on adjustment for the clock. Mine is only off by 1 1/2 minute over a day. Not bad, I do know where the escapement adjustment screw is, just have to determine which direction and how much. I'll check the Sligh manual. Thanks for the video, always great to hear them chine

In case anybody else needs this info, here it is. "turn the small adjustment screw shown in Fig. 10 to adjust time. A complete turn of the screw will change the timekeeping by one minute in 24 hours. If your clock runs fast, turn the screw clockwise. If the clock runs slow, turn the screw counter clockwise".

Yeah that’s not bad. I would definitely find that adjustment screw and turn slightly in the direction to slow it down and continuously turn it slowly each day until the clock tells perfect time.

Just wind it, it will automatically start when the middle spring is wound
