Isnt the ascendency node doubling dw bonus, make the base block of any shield 50% instead of its value? Thats a buff isnt it? Most shields are like what 30%? It reads weird but woildnt make sense to cut the value by half. Pretty sure its an override to 50% but i could be wrong

Dual strike of ambidexterity shouldn't be played with bleed/glad. If you want bleed - boneshatter is better, but its still to be cooked.

SST barely got changed this league and even though you will be able to get 3k armour shields way easier this league, there are not enough inherent gladiator or tree changes to affect bleed SST in any significant way, thus, the builds remains the same. The main issues remain: slow scaling and low high-end ceiling, which makes it both a bad starter and a bad late game build. Nevertheless, I think that if you like the playstyle, you should totally try and play it. I might be overlooking the varunastra + rupturing + crimson dance with SST, so who knows, only time will tell. Im going to include bleed SST in the upcoming tierlist after a few weeks into the league, so I will delve deeper into that then.

@@umechrono I was specifically looking into it for varunastra + rupture since crit cap is doable with seething fury + 160% crit chance from 1 bleed wheel + 20% more from weapons master, etc. I think it might fit into the tanky mapper niche but Its going to require a lot of tinkering. It will be nice to see what people cook up this league

Sunder wants to have a few words with you. If seriously, EQ and sunder are now numerically very close to each other. And even though EQ has a high multiplier that is calculated later in the equation, sunder has a way better of applying bleed, so Imo its a winner here. Nevertheless, I don't want to stop you from experimenting!! So go cook, my friend.

I would love your opinion on this build concept: Perfect Agony Dual Wield Lacerate of Haemorrhage Gladiator You go Varunastra, Farrul's Pounce and Farrul's Fur. Farrul's Pounce gives us Crimson Dance only when we have Cat's Stealth (a buff granted by Aspect of the Cat, a mod we should get crafted on our boots). We increase Cat's Stealth duration to 6s with Farrul's Fur to match Cat's Agility duration, then we reduce both durations supporting Aspect of the Cat with Less Duration and Swift Affliction, getting both durations to 1.5s. With this, we can have 1.5s of Crimson Dance active, then 1.5s of non Crimson Dance, alternating permanently, which allows us to inflict 9 bleeds. 8 from Crimson Dance, and 1 extra normal bleed which can be aggravated. For a total of 490% base damage. We don't even need to take Jagged Technique from Gladiator since there are 2 small nodes on a crit bleed wheel which grant "25% to aggravate bleedings on targets you critically strike with attacks", for a total of 50%. Farrul's Fur gives us permanent maximum frenzy and power charges. Weapon Master ascendancy node gives us 20% More crit chance with daggers, as well as all the other bonuses thanks to Varunastra. We then steal Overwhelm from the Slayer with Forbidden jewels to easily reach 100% crit and stack a lot of crit multi with Perfect Agony. For defense, we go the 2 block nodes from Gladiator + buffed Versatile Combatant. This will allow us to easily reach 67% block chance for both attacks and spells, which then turns into 89% with lucky block chance

Wow dude, you cooked so hard the whole kitchen is on fire... The main idea is good, as a late game setup. In regards to utilizing switching buffs of farrul's fur, I'd think that its a very clunky playstyle, especially because of what I'm going to say next. The idea that you cooked up with 9 bleeds would be very interesting, but unfortunately that's not how it works. If put simply, you can't go beyond 8 bleed stacks that you have when crimson dance is active, thus making this interaction useless, as well as crimson dance + aggravation doesn't work at all, due to them canceling each other out. Everything else though does make sense. Even though there are a few questionable things here and there, I'm curious to see how it will work out, so if by any chance you manage to reach this setup and find yourself in the comment section under one of my future videos, leave a commend with your experience of this cooking show. :)

@@umechronoit’s really works. You can try it with golden rule to see debuffs on your character. You will get 1 bleed that can be buffed with agravate and 8 bleeds with crimson dance so we can get 400% bleed dps with crimson dance and 300% with agravated single bleed

Yeah, my bad on sound volume. It was initially very loud, so I kinda lowered it a bit TOO much out of fear of it being too loud xd. In regards to your SST question, I hope its fine if I just copypaste one of the replies I've sent above. It theoretically can. The main issue would be having to play fully in melee range due to lack of range, so I might've overcooked on this one.

Yeah, you can. But the issue are encounters and situations where you have nothing to hit like trials, lab, boss phases, just walking around the map. To me the new vaal pact seems very questionable due to how unreliable it is.

I think that if you want to play perforate, you should totally go for non-bleed version, because the bleed perforate gem numbers are quite weak and don't make much sense. Unfortunately, perforate is best when used with 2h weapons, so I'm not sure that going for high attack speed perforate is the best idea. BUT, its totally not going to be bad, unless you are planning to play it from the early stages... To all of that, the easier access to bleed pops should make solving clear with perforate quite straightforward (clear is the biggest issue with perforate).

I am still not sure about it. The obvious choice is going for ralakesh and the classic frenzy stacking with olesya's delight and usurpers penance, but I think that this setup limits your defensive and utility options too much, but, who knows? It also might be that urgent orders + enduring cry is the angle, but Im not sure whether or not the amount of warcry speed provided by this support gem is enough to make it not feel like this. Another possibility is this new gem that automates warcries for reserving 15% of ur mana. There are many possible ways, but I am unsure in regards to any of them. Maybe its an eldritch endurance charge gain implicit angle with 1 small charge duration node near cloth and chain. It also might be that if you are okay with spamming ur banner and if you find a way to sustain valor consistently, then defiant stand with its 3 endurance charges gained when you consume maximum valor to place a banner. There's also a possibility of min endurance charge jewellry, but there you run into elreon issue and the fact, that veiled orb is expensive af so its hard to craft it. Basically, a lot of cooking to be done and I am not sure in which direction.

If you are going for aggravation, then this might be a good idea. BUT, I would think that multistrike + ruthelss are a better choice, due to lack of variance and more consistent output. You also might want to look into fist of war + ruthless when using sunder or EQ. Imo volatility should be used only on something like lacerate + crimson dance, which allows you to hit often and override the weaker stacks while staying in battle for long enough for higher variance to make sense.

After that, you could start adding phys clusters, inspirational node through forbidden jewels, get double dot quiver, get a rare body armour with suppression, chaos res and some armour/evasion, get ailment avoidance through ancestral vision + implicit on boots + craft on body armour, etc etc etc...

EQ is likely not worth it whatsoever. Its has very weak numbers compared to all other skills. I am still experimenting with the trees and thinking how to go about it. The main problems I'm encountering, are the location change for mana reservation wheel and having to take block nodes, both of which make you passive skill starved. As for gear, it depends on whether or not you're going for suppression. I personally hate suppression, so I'm going for full armour equipment with max res scaling on implicits and tree. But I think you can also go for iron reflexes and trying to get some suppression with "Chance to suppress is lucky" mastery, which is easy to reach due to higher mentioned reservation wheel. Basically, its hard to give you a tree both because I am still unsure myself and because all of it very much depends on what amount and what kind of defences you want.

Eviscerate for huge bleed on bosses with 80% bleed duration mastery. Then either lacerate/sunder/ bs carnage for clear. Double strike and perforate bloodshed also looking great with being amoung the highest buffed melee skills for bleed

Since chance to bleed supports minions is there a chance that Generals Cry Gladiator could be a thing? if so would their bleeds be considered your bleeds or would they all have their own separate bleed? Because knowing this would give a better idea of what skill to use with it. Im gonna assume nobody knows this answer yet but it's something I wanted to try. Edit: after thinking about it I don't think Gladiator would be the best way to do this considering I wanted to use a 2hander and you would have wasted ascendancy points.

Yeah. Please don't do it. Cyclone is VERY bad for bleed due to how low the damage of individual hits is, thus making your bleed damage very low. To all of that, if you want to go cyclone, you can try out Slayer Shockwave Cyclone. Its not the best build out there, but its pretty decent at cycloning even though it didn't really get buffed this league.

One other glaring issue with bleed bow on Gladiator: Only three ascendancy notables even affect a bow wielder, so uber lab is only worth two of the small passives. That said, it looks like it can be okay on Warden now if you invest into tinctures and Barkskin.

Tempest rising could replace the need for aggravation for your bleeds, so it could be a substitution for that when playing bleed on non-glad ascendancies.

You can have a normal bleed amd aggravated bleed at the same time on a target so of you can make the normal bleed count as moving both can be applied. The example of the math and the wording suggests this is the case if indeed they are seperate ailments which is what they said today

So combining these 2 wouldn't do much, since the variable of whether to deal 70% damage or 210% is likely determined by an "is moving" statement, both of which are affected in the exact same way both by the boots and aggravation...

@umechrono it does because if you have 100 bleed damage on target from hit 1, than aggravated the bleed on hit 2, you now have 1 aggravated bleed and 1 normal bleed, on hit 3 you apply a new bleed, than you have 1 aggravated bleed doing damage and 1 bleed from hit 3 doing damage until you aggravated that bleed. In other words aggravated elevates the highest dps bleed on target to count as moving but it is actually a whole new ailment called aggravated bleed. It's why this works on non Gladiator ascendancy

From all data so far- double strike and perforate are also great for bleed and trauma double strike of impale could be bobkers. In total end game wr will all scale impale and bleed especially if you go perfect agony

Nah, not true. Double strike is very bad for bleed application as well as it has less damage than other skills due to lack of any bleed multipliers and/or lower added damage ratio. Trauma double strike could go bonkers, but again, its a shit skill to apply bleed with. I have way easier time imagining boneshatter being good for that.

Cyclone with shockwave support makes bleed work great. You can use a high dmg weapon and not care about attack speed as shockwave proc is what will be doing the bleed damage. This would work best with aggravated bleed

I've hear of people talk about Slam Bleeds, and I've heard of Sunder Bleed, but if you try and look up a video on it, they are like 6 years old. I don't even know why Sunder make a better bleed build than Lacerate Transfigured gems, and how since Lacerate is a bleed skill and Sunder is not. I thought Bow Bleed was suppose to be the highest bleed damage we could get.

@@Valkaneer The sunder build would be Gladiator with 2h axe, fist of war and aggravation with maybe Seismic Cry for more comfy clear. The 6 year old bleed sunder was a mix of hit and bleed damage, was a very good build that got sunder nerfed. Sunder has massive added damage multiplier, can apply multiple bleeds at once, has crazy clear due to shockwaves jumping from enemy to enemy and its a slam so good with aggravation. The reason lacerate is a bleed skill and sunder isnt, is because sunder falls off later into the game, because all it has is high damage effectiveness, while not having any strong multipliers unlike lacerate. Shield crush is just a more single-target damage oriented version of SST, but has one of the worst clears out of all skills that can be matches with bleed.

It will, but Imo there are skills that outperform Lacerate at earlier stages like sunder or EQ, but I am pretty sure that when you gear up - lacerate will fucking blast.

That could work! Flicker bleed was somewhat playable for a long while, but now it seems as if it is more than ever before. Of course, the multistrike nerf for movement skills is unpleasant, but with vaal flicker strike you can cook up some serious single target damage, especially with aggravate.

It took you 2 minutes to kill maligaro, you would have 100% more damage. The damage kicks in when you need it it most, for map bosses you`ll be one shoting them anyway.... You are underestimating that node
