I own a 1000 cc Kwid. After 6 months, my car started a knocking sound from the engine bay at low rpms. First I thought it was engine knocking, which it was not. The sound usually came from low rpms first-second gear and vanished but very annoying. It got louder and louder. The SC people kept my car for four days and had no clue what was wrong. It did some research and found out that the engine mounts had become loose, the bolts got loose, they are set looser to accommodate light steering and soft suspension. To my horror I found out that all Kwid cars have this problem, some have more knocking some have less knocking. The oil chamber on this car is made out of plastic and if some rock hits it and the oil leaks completely, your engine will cease and you'll have to put in a new engine for 1 lakh. So I would suggest you to not buy this car.
