And looking at his striking vs Kape, I think he can hold his own. I went back and rewatched all the matches between these 2 fighters AND I must say: I feel like overall, Brandon Moreno has done more in these 3 fights then Figgy did. So In my eyes, Moreno seems up in this trilogy event. Going into the 4th match but will see what this Quad match up battle will be like? I hope the fight deliverers. They have proven to be a really entertaining match up.

First fight was only a draw because of the point deduction of figgy Second fight Moreno won And then the third fight figgy put him back in his place Fourth fight isn’t needed ... Moreno only getting this shot because he is loved by the fans

Its Figgy's fault he couldn't stop fouling and so a good ref punished him for it. Anyone complaining about the point deduction can be honestly be written off as a salty Brazilian fan. Third fight was pretty damn close, it could have gone to Moreno on a different night even if I now think Figgy won it. Normally I would think a 4th fight wouldn't be needed but Figgy got injured so he wasn't able to defend his title against Kai Kara-France, so him and Moreno fought for the interim title and Moreno won it so they have no choice. But regardless of who wins here, Pantoja should get the next title shot.

Like I said I would normally agree with it but circumstances have led to the 4th fight happening. Had Figgy not gotten injured, chances are he would have fought KKF and maybe Pantoja as well. At the same time though had Pantoja not gotten injured Moreno would have attempted to defend his title against him.

DJ is a year older than him and still doing pretty well. Age is not that important since he didn't took much damage and had no much injuries. Cain Velasquez, for example, was 33 years old when he fought Werdum, young for HW standards and was already past his prime because of many injuries he suffered.
