Poirier isn't necessarily violent. He can be but you would have to bring it out of him. Guys like on the video & that i'm about to list go in there to really try to hurt you. Poirier's up there on the list for sure tho he went head to head with Gaethje himself & not only won but finished him. Gaethje had to bring that side of Poirier out of him in order for Poirier to win the fight tho. Destructive aka violent fighters for example, Jamahal Hill, Khaos Williams, Blachowicz, Masvidal, Alex Pereira, O'Malley, Yan, Chito, Figgy, etc.

Yoel Romero is my favorite fighter of all time. That man at the age of 40, put his body on the line and had incredible performances. Despite him losing to costa, I remember watching that whole fight in awe still think that he won that one to this day

I legit had someone ask me why Gaethje is my favorite fighter. I don't normally use the word "casual" but if you have to ask, you haven't seen the man in action. It's like watching an ancient warrior like a Viking berserker or a legendary Spartan go to war with reckless abandon. He might not make it out alive, but you'll rue the day you met him in battle, if you survive.

Gaethje is like a lighter Rumble but with less head kicks...I still cant get the Rumble Vs Yoshida fight out of my head....it was like a man Vs a 13 year old boy...and Yoshida was no slouch...only guy who he lost to at the time was Koscheck who beat Rumble as well.

Gaethje didn’t dominate Fiziev, he just happened to cut him so he had more “damage” but Fiziev almost put him down a few times. It was a great fight to watch.

he would have looked like Tony if it was a 5 rounder, he was spent and getting hit hard and at will by the end of the 3rd. Just like Tony might have been in better shape today if his had only been 3 rounds. Thats what makes Gaethje fights so crazy... even in 3 round fights you take 5 round damage win or lose. Your better off taking a couple from Francis than 50 from Justin. That guy takes your legs.. face and soul if your in there long enough with him.
