Great video, but the thumbnail was a bit clickbaity. Josh only talked about Fur Hire for 4 minutes and simply said "it's better if it doesn't brick." Was hoping for more of a comparison between the two

Alr imma give it to you for real, fur hire you better hope you get fossil dig or Rex cause if you don’t you gotta go into I think gigantic to summon Rex and be locked for the turn and make IP and try to make folgo, its also important to have fountain.

There's honestly not much more to say Other than fur doesn't have built in protection from nibiru other than drawing rex/fossil, runick spell, rafale and a fur card to discard The biggest thing is twin runick spright can full combo through handtraps and doesn't run bricks. It draws 6 with folgo and fountain, but with kisikil draw and fountain you draw 4 and lil la and unchained can pop 3.

@@TeamHighCloudyou forgot to mention live twins inherent weakness to bystials, the fur hire engine isn’t weak to the bystials. I don’t think most people are going to side or main nib over bystials.

Ima be honest. I came to the same train of thought when deciding my board breakers. And the thing I think solved both issues of working for everything and colliding well with in engine, was running kaijus under mannequin cat attributes, raiden for live twin and kumoungous for fur hire. Where it’s brilliant going second. But in niche going first games where you get handtrapped. U can convert the mannequin cat summon to whatever card you want from your main deck.

Been playing Josh's List from London since pretty much the decklist had gotten posted and the amount of times I drew into Evenly or Kurikara off Fountain hurts so much 😭 droplet would go so hard!

Something I feel is key for running the second copy of Jet for Smashers is also as a cost for removal. For me personally, I find myself liking the extra body as bait that can double as a free cost for removal. I could just be bad with the deck and can't find better targets in the situations I need them.

Something i like about Live Twin Spright is something a notice a lot of others dont play. Going first, Double cross solos kashtira and can straight up win you games against toms of other matchups. Its likely something not good to play in the runick builds but the card feels so powerful to me to search off jet going first i love playing it

Double cross is better IMO It's just as good for removal and has the added benefit of being able to summon a floodgate monster from gy (like send Testu from Deck to GY off Swap Frog)

I've been trying to get my ratios down. I think ATM I have 6 spots that I filled at 2. So 2 ash 2 belle 2 imperm. I feel like I don't want to open multiple hand traps, but I will be drawing cards, and I don't want to draw into multiple of the same. Belle is actually pretty ok in a lot of match ups. Ash is just good in general. And similarly with imperm. Going second I side board breakers. Idk still learning the deck too.

Change imperm to veiler its better in the runick deck to get around the imperm limitation of activating from hand, especially if your talking about drawing off fountain you'll likely have at least 1 monster on field. Plus normal summon veiler and Special Runick lvl 9 to make synchro Baronne ❤

Love live twin spright, I think runick is cool but it’s not my cup of tea. I like my battle phase. I don’t mind drawing three but at the cost of bp, idk 🤷‍♂️ man

You're not really doing the runick engine fairly, it's not just "draw 3 skip battle", it's "draw 3 destroy 2 negate 1 banish 10 from their deck make a body, then skip battle"

It does not interact with the skip. On attempt to enter BP, it immediately skips it, meaning you don't actually enter the BP, meaning no end of BP. It goes Main Phase -> Attempt to enter Battle Phase. Skip Battle Phase. (This is important to declare btw) -> End Phase (no battle phase means no main phase 2).

Elf yes, its revival being a Quick effect is too much, and the targeting protection is a problem SPECIFICALLY against Tear engine, where most board wipes are a liability against them. Sprind is specifically an issue when Merrli uses it to fuse dark/chaos monsters, Spright can use it to flood the field with Nimbles but again you should be running board wipes to deal with them, which isn't something that works well against Tearlaments. tl;dr 1 Merrli is too many

How do you play into board with Spright ? How do you play into arise heart with live twins and Spright blue ? I have no idea 🥹

I think josh used kurikara, so when arise heart uses it’s mando effect you can kurikara tribute it away or use flashing fire/ freezing curses if you can. I think the best way is evenly or maybe turbo accesscode if your using it, since you’ll have enough mats for three or four of you do it right I think. It’s one of the problems with the deck, you could easily dark ruler and evenly, but I agree with josh that droplet is the perfect card but as long as kash is best deck it isn’t viable.
