play a normal deck to build defense, negates and survive your opponents turn -> play all the burn to ftk -> play all the anti burn handtraps to survive the ftk -> play too many anti burn handtraps, so you go second and try to beat opponent in combat -> play a normal deck which blanks the handtraps and can easily survive the beatdown from the subpar monsters

The funniest part about playing Swordsoul in this event is that they have built in answers to Direct Attacking thanks to Golden. Also all of the Longyuans are fire so you can blow them up with Kurenai as a last resort.

We could've also played Swordsoul, honestly. Burn with Longyuan, then finish with Qixing. But the usual is to just run every good burn and anti-burn, especially Leonidas since it's a big body that prevents you from taking any burn damage.

Leonidas is SR, Junkuriboh negate is better & for immunity Hanawada & Eco is SO MUCH BETTER for immunity (esp Eco if you want put bodies, Leonidas is overkill)

Because instead of an event it was a "duel trial" a lot of people were just trying to get the 3 games done for the pack so they could return to regular Yu-Gi-Oh since it gives almost no rewards to play this trial

So I cooked something really funny for this event I played a Synchron list with a bunch of anti-burn hand traps, but also could summon life stream dragon to make my life points, 4K and blank opponents on burn… but if my opponent was playing “normal ygo”, I could still go into my big synchro end board. These formats are such a meme and I love them

I played this event a lot of ans yes 20/25% of the game they literally played regular decks... while i was playing a LP gain deck because i want it to be fun... After that i played burn then fighting most of other burn decks, my issue was playing leonidas, it was too big to beat over it, if they didnt have it i would won otherwise i would lost. At the final days i played swordsoul just to have a way to beat over that card with longyuan the synchro one... The best event ever played so funny, so much tear of laugh and so much joy seeing burn players scoop against LP gain decks. Hopefully would make cooler events, this 30 second event seems fine. Defently better than the usual garbage synchro xyz link etc... festival. EDIT: my only complain are the rewards, could they give so much more in this fun events, its so disappointing seeing almost no prices when playing these events.

This event was kinda fun I First used VW to turbo out tzolkin to get the RDA that burns for 2500 exactly, then i built flower cardian to burn for 3k in draw with double lightshower
