This is the Germantown MD location. Went there because it’s about half an hour away from my house. Also not the first time I’ve been compared to Napoleon Dynamite

Yeah, I hadn't played golf for a long time prior to me going there. I definitely need to work on my form among other things. Besides that, it was a fun time.

Seems like a ripoff since it deducts playing time while you are going through the various screens

Well, it was mainly targeted at first-timers like myself (that was the case at the time). I actually went for an hour, which allowed me to go over the various screens and get some good play time in…and also get a drink of water when needed.
