In my opinion this dude is the best. A barbers best tool is their eye. You can teach someone steps to a good fade but you can't teach them how to have an eye like this dude has. Its a god given gift.

You said it best Dre, anyone can put guidelines in and work the lever and guards down. It’s developing the barber eye. The detailing is what makes your blends unique and stand out. fire 🔥 bro. Amazing cut bro

Bro keep up with the videos!! I'm currently deployed overseas, and studying your techniques to cut my own hair since most decent barbershops are hard to get to. Not to mention nobody wants to go to a military barbershop for a "fresh fade" lol. So far I've attempted this twice and didn't do so bad. Just have to work the blend a bit more. Would definitely appreciate a shears over comb tutorial since I got that comb over look going on. Again, thanks for the video man💯💪🏻🙏🏻

Sooo after guideline Open lever fingers with up 1 open fingers with up 2 open flicking Then 1 1/2 open to hit the 1 open line and blend it to the 2 Then 1/2 gaurd open to hit and take out the open lever line ? Then detailing the fade and clipper over comb if needed ? Am I on the right track?

Right before the 1 guard open you do the 1 inch starter fade area, but you dont specify which guard you use?
@ryansimmons87514 жыл бұрын
I have the gold babyliss zero gapped and cut my own hair.. but I feel the need to press harder or stretch my skin to achieve even guidelines before fading. Is that common? Do my guards have anything to do with that?
@ar04azr4 жыл бұрын
Unlikely the guards, more likely ur hair texture/density. I have same issues particularly around temple area

Dope cut man! Do hair fibers act the same way as the enhancement spray you use? Just askin cuz the fiber pump seems like a cheaper option. I could be wrong tho lol
@hiddencompounder81004 жыл бұрын
Fibres only last till the clients wash their hair, so one day at best, whereas the one he’s using will last 2-3 days even if you wash your hair

love the content!, when I close my guards sometimes my fade tends to go higher or the line goes up any tips for that?
@Dibi-Jo4 жыл бұрын
Use the corners more. You can close it half way, just to be safe, but the corners usually do the trick.
@jrawblue244 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you’re going to high with the lever closed.... you should be “just” going above the line you’re trying to get rid of. I guess I would try to think of it as graduating the hair (which you are doing)... lever open is longest, halfway closed is a little shorter, and closed is the shortest, so if you go too high with the shortest, it cuts all the hair you just graduated to the shortest length, meaning you just brought up the fade

@papajohn85364 жыл бұрын
They work for me but I put in my bald line in with the clipper itself, then come under it with the trimmer and shaver. They have that black fade blade that’s better at taking the line out than the regular babyliss blade
