Originally, I was quite disheartened thinking there wouldn't be a New Year Festival this year, feeling like something was missing. So, we decided to organize our own New Year Festival! Plus, I never had the chance to create a big crossover before, so this was the perfect opportunity to go all out with the artwork.
I immediately started working on the storyboard...
But then, the schedule got completely packed. I ended up spending the last few days of the New Year in the countryside, working on the final scenes with just a laptop, and the rendering almost didn’t make it in time… It was a close call!

Though I don't believe it's exactly confirmed that she's a version of Kiana, she just looks extremely similar and has the same CN/JP VA (And of course Raiden's is Acheron from HSR)

I'm glad that GGZ wasn't forggotten here! Especially GGZ Wendy, girlie is sooo underated. I especially love the different expressions of Venti (Cheerful), GGZ Wendy (Sly), and HI3 Wendy (Maniac) because it really shows how different their personalities are even tho they are alternate version of each others. Well, as someone who has played all of em, you don't HAVE to play HI3rd, it's a big time investment with it coming up on 8-9 years and all, but knowing it would be VERY beneficial to a lot of the current hoyo world building, references and characters. There are videos explaining it briefly like homulabs'. They skip out on a few things but they should be enough to keep U up to speed, and ofc, the animated shorts are always worth a watch for the sheer cinema.

Tbh, I really hope that we eventually see the HI3 cast, since that would be very cool. (Or in our own regard her expy, since so far, we’ve gotten the HOV for GI, ZZZ got the Elysia/kiana expy in the original lore trailer, and now we just need a HSR Kiana.) I really enjoyed this, and I hope that we see some of these characters more in the coming future.

If I ever need to reply to someone else "Why Hoyogames have such an intense fanbase?" Well, this animation just says everything. The same reason I didn't quit Hoyo games is the same reason I keep playing Pokemon. Nostalgia. I need to get Phainon, cause I loved Kevin Kaslana. I don't wanna quit HSR before getting to see Kiana on the game. I need to see what Mei expy will there be on ZZZ(Yanagi doesn't count, nor Miyabi) I mean the one in the lore trailer.
