Holy the amount of symbolism in this cover is insane so I feel obliged to talk about it. So at 0:17 obviously the two protagonists are singing “I want you to show me your fantasy” probably referring to how they learn about firefly,aventurine and Acheron’s past and firefly’s dream. At 0:22 Himeko’s va sing “no past and no future” it’s more ironic then anything since Himeko is one of the characters with a very vague past and the “no future” part is just HI3. So from 0:17 to 0:31 the astral express crew is singing. At 0:34 Sam and firefly singing “I thought that dream could light our way” is clearly corresponding to her past and entire story really. At 0:41 Robin and Misha singing “be my saviour take me away” could not have been a coincidence right? At 0:53 sampo and sparkle singing “a magic show I cannot escape” probably somehow refers to them being a part of the masked fools. And at 0:57 Acheron and aventurine singing “there’s nothing else left for me to do” directly corresponds to their backstory.
