Great video! In Extremo is my favorite band since 2008, it's really nice that more people get to know their music. Highlight for part you show their concert in Ulm 2017 that reminded me I have traveled 8 hours to see them for the first time. Thanks for the video!

I listen them since 2009, when I was in high school and (kind of because of Rammstein) I got interested in german rock and metal. Now I'm living in Germany and I had the posibility of seeing them live, and they are definetely awesome!

In the UK they are not known. I was the one who got my friends into bands like this. The only people who knew this band in the Uk were Germans i meet in alternative clubs in the UK. I found got into this band via KZbin and Wikipedia by clicking on the medieval metal link and finding more bands in this medieval/metal mix like subway to sally.

I've only discovered this band a few years ago after I came across Saltatio Mortis (they're a medieval metal band.) One of the members plays the Hurdy Gurdy, which is pretty cool. Not sure if you've heard of them before, but they're definitely worth a listen. Much love from the U.S.

I would recommend checking the live recordings if you want to check out In Extremo. The quality of earlier studio recordings is not up to the live performance imo (eg. I think some Americans know about them mostly threw discovering Rammstein. That's how I heard about them. Rammstein I think paved the way for a lot of these German bands. Most likely when someone want's to find a band slimier to Rammstein, bands like In Extremo, Subway to Sally, Megaherz, Eisbrecher and many other's come up.

No, every band member has the freedom to realize their own projects, if they don't collide with Rammstein's concerts and studio dates. Lead guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe (He always stands on the right side of the stage as seen by the audience.) also has a solo project called Emigrate. Keyboarder Flake has written books about Rammstein.
