Most of Anders' songs are about his struggle with alcoholism and what appears to be anxiety. I'm an alcoholic, I understand this song to the core. "don't believe the mask, it adapts to any light" I'm a normal guy by all appearances, but behind that mask I think about suicide every day.

Neekolas Cage I always thought the newer IF stuff was about anxiety and depression, and some songs sounded like they were about bad relationships. There’s some that are obviously other things, but I noticed that about a lot of songs. I know IF are/were big into drinking, but I thought it was only a serious problem for Jesper, since he had to leave due to his alcohol issues.
